i think it should be renamed Unexpected Crossover to sound a bit less complainy and match with Unexpected Character, but yeah it should still be YMMV because there's no standard metric on what's "weird" and it's an audience reaction to begin with

I personally don't think "weird" sounds negative, but I'm a self-proclaimed eccentric.
For every low there is a high.It's not that weird is necessarily negative, but it is subjective.

A lot of fics will be deliberately tagged or labelled as a crack fic because it’s considered a genre.
I noticed that Weird Crossover is not YMMV. Why? Is there some kind of objective standard for what's considered weird or not?
