This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
Any thoughts on The Shangri-La? According to the trope description, it's supposed to be "usually shown as an idyllic and beautiful place, full of rare flora and fauna, and tended by little bald men in orange robes who beat gongs". The image shows none of that.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The quality ain't that great, either.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢In the Fan Works page, there is currently no image to illustrate the message. Could you please add the Sakura page from Remix that was in the image links, or find another fan monster image, from anywhere, and put it in there instead? Thanks! Note I already asked this on an incorrect forum.
What?
back lolThey're trying to get an image on Fan Works.
Evidently, they didn't ask the CM thread yet.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNot to mention we already have a thread open for that page.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Do Uptight Loves Wild need a thread? The image is almost exactly the same as Along Came Polly, but it uses a different background, which for some people seems a good enough difference to count as duplicates (e.g. Gentleman Adventurer, He Who Fights Monsters).
Giant Scrap Robot is a new trope, and the new image is both poor quality and has a watermark.
You want the Artifacts thread
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAdded Alliterative Appeal... does that need a quality upgrade or do people feel it's basically a page quote in PNG format?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! It needs an upgrade; other than that I think it's fine.
I mean, it's one of those tropes where you kinda need it to be text-based.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe quote is atrociously long, though.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Agreed, but that's a discussion for the page quote thread.
Shouldn't Vin Diesel have a photo of the actual real-life Vin Diesel and not a comic?
Most likely.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Would Blind Obedience be worth pulling without replacement?
I don't see why, it looks pretty illustrative.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I kinda don't get the picture on Appeal to Force, but at the same time, I feel as if it might be a situation where everyone else can clearly tell, but not me
—signature not found—I can get what the picture is behind, but I don't think it illustrates the trope well.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Whats going on in Snipe Hunt.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."The boyscout is presenting the tropical bird to the old man. There is no indication he was sent to find the bird to get rid of him.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It's a Visual Pun, ya'll.

Really? I'd think how it comes across in context is pretty important, too. Consider, for example, a Tear Jerker image of characters looking devastated... except in context, it's about them comically overreacting to something minor.
