Try saying those last few words really fast. I vaguely recall a letter page, or something, where Waid or maybe someone else said in response to the umpteenth fan letter asking when was Barry gonna come back, "For god's sake! Barry is dead, expired, vanished! Why can't you let him rest in peace?"
I don't remember the exact wording, but I need to know, so I can add it to Hurricane of Euphemisms, and I need to confirm it was indeed Mark Waid so I can add the Take That, Audience! trope to The Return of Barry Allen.
