So over 10 years ago or so, we used to have a newsletter called Trope Report, which covers all of the changes that happened on the wiki weekly. I have been nostalgic for it recently so I thought of it and it seemed to be a fun way to inform tropers about the changes going on around the wiki.
The sandbox for the project can be found at Sandbox.Trope Report Dummy Edition and the sandbox for ideas/plans can be found on Sandbox.Trope Report Ideas. After a new issue is published, revert the Dummy Edition back to a template using the text on Sandbox.Trope Report Template.

Yeah, I've been wanting to use it for this issue for a while now. 
Here's my trope entry for Frames of Reference as well as a write up for Jazzpunk (a game I suddenly remembered watching back in Lets play phase) since the wacky premise and execution makes it a rather fitting entry for April.
- Like any Meaningful Appearance trope, what kind of glasses a person wears can tell a lot about them. Whether its a Bespectacled Cutie in round frame glasses or a person with square-shaped Stoic Spectacles, Frames of Reference has all of that. It only has 37 wicks despite being made back in 2010, so the page deserves more love and edits.
- Jazzpunk is a first-person comedy game with spy elements, developed by Necrophone games and published by [adult swim] Games for PC (via Steam) and later ported to the PlayStation 4 with both gaining extra story DLC. Taking place in a Cold War-esque world, you play as Polyblank as you travel through cities around the world as you encounter bizarre and often comical situations, people and minigames. The game initially gained popularity from Let's Players like Jacksepticeye but soon after faded into obscurity. With April brining silly joys and wacky events, its time to give the page some attention.

It was suggested to be like a You-Tube Thumbnail. I'm thinking a shot of the front page with the obligatory red circle and arrow, and maybe Von Trope in the corner for the "thumbnail face". Shouldn't be too complicated since you could just take a screenshot and draw over it.

I love to put fake changes into the changelog (my favorite being Jossed into Davided), and sticking with the theme, we can claim that we now have a "TVT YT channel" and just throw that link in. IDK. I just know we did some small changes for Troop Report last year, though they weren't super substantial. I was just spitballing to see if anyone would run with the idea, really.
To be clear, I was referring to the bios before each section, not contributor stuff.

Speaking of which, I tweaked my bio to involve semi-literal spitballing.
The only ideas I have now are promoting a (non-existent) book of some kind In Which a Trope Is Described throughout, or pretending that the Latest Reviews are all actually anonymous entries from Tropers. (Can people still add reviews anonymously?)
