Duke Nukem Forever one is kinda bums me out but not too much due to my contempt for 3D Realms, George Broussard and Randy Pitchford.
I've been saying this many times but they should've stayed at 2001 version of the game which was at its best. It was perfect or close to perfect as it could get and if released in 2002 it would have taken the world by storm and maybe bury DOOM. Broussard however, wanted more and couldn't help himself.
It doesn't help I heard a former employee has the 2001 DNF build he can't release because of Gearbox and Take Two
Languishing in Development Hell for so long...to release a forgettable, mediocre experience that ruined Duke Nukem for good.
Having never played it, I don't know what's that supposed to mean, sorry.

But it was referenced in No More Heroes so it died for a reason.
I like these videos. They're not reviewing the gameplay but instead the behind-the-scenes stuff and mostly just shows enough of the gameplay that you can tell how bad the game is.

Disgusted, but not surprisedHe posted a vid on Bomberman ACT ZERO EDGY REALISM EDITION!
Mileena Madnessjesus who though turning Bomberman into "that" gonna sell anyway?
E.T technically is a Isekai movieHudson.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSpecifically, Hudson-Soft in a period where everybody wanted to jump on the western gaming trend, but communication between eastern and western branches of companies were spotty.
…Okay, did they seriously release a game with no save feature? In 2006? Like, there's someone who proposed that idea, and everyone in the team agreed that it was good? How?
No saves, one life, no continues, and not even a password feature.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHudson was really weird.
> No saves, one life, no continues, and not even a password feature.
damn,they really hated that game
New theme music also a boxAlso shame Matt never considered Death and Return of Superman, it was a really good game.
This time, Matt takes a look at a game that never saw the light of day for a change.
It did look really cool.
I remember all the coverage this game got while it was being developed ,all the hype too
New theme music also a boxI'm mostly sad about the death of Swingin' Ape. Matt was right, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System is a comically underappreciated game. For a freshman effort to be that solid is damn impressive.
I mostly wanted the Ghost video just to hope that he mentioned Metal Arms.

Most are usually rushed but this one problem was lack of direction, feature creep and taking way too long
Uni catHey if he can cover this, I'm sure he can cover the cancelled Prey 2
I'm hoping he gets to it, the behind-the-scenes drama is worth an episode
Gonna watch this either way
What the hell? Youtube actually has a thumbnail for Starcraft: Ghost? Are you shitting me? (in description where you can find title of game and press "browse game")

For an apparently long-awaited episode, it was a bit underwhelming. Doesn't seem like a spectacular failure like the other games covered, just a game that was kinda below expectations.
Matt even points out that Brink's failure was kind of mundane compared to other entries.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThe new episode came quickly and… ooooh boy.
Ah...that game.
...
Disgusted, but not surprisedYou seem traumatized.
New episode is out and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GODDDDDDDDDD!
Mileena Madness
In this series, videogame youtuber Matt McMuscles retraces the Troubled Productions of some of the most glorious trainwrecks that blessed modern gaming. Expect frequent appearances from EA and Captain Crunch. The stories range from hilariously ill-conceived ideas to outright tragedies. There are also a few episodes on movies (namely Mortal Kombat: Anihilation and Godzilla 98).
Latest entry: Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Yes, that was a thing.
My favorite one though, is probably the neverending shitstorm that is Fallout 76. I've never been so entertained by a game I've never played.
