Opened.
Actually, the picture for Heli-Critter would work better here. We should find a picture for that page where the character uses something else than their hair.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Maybe this for Heli-critter, but now I realise Snoopy is using his ears not his hair.
PSA: a cat is not a dogYou can't post a URL that ends with a image file extension since TV Tropes thinks you're trying to hotlink an image, but you can pothole to it like this: Rayman 3 image◊. This◊ is the only Dixie Kong image I can find that shows the ability; I was thinking about suggesting it for Dixie's image on Pantheon.Hair Abilities since she's the goddess of Helicopter Hair, but it's outdated. There's also Gerti Giggles◊ from Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, which could work for this page.
Keet cleanupShowing Gerti actually floating (although the available space doesn't really allow for portrait format):

I like Gerti, just because it's more absurd than a creature doing it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessA better quality version of that would be perfect

Sounds fine to me.
How is this trope not "Heli-Critter but more specific"?
Hmmmm...
Heli-Critter seems to focus on non-human characters that achieve flight through spinning some part of their body, either as a built-in function or as some sort of gag.
Helicopter Hair seems like it's about any character who has the innate ability to fly by spinning their hair.
If there were enough examples I'd say Helicopter Hair is a notable subtrope, but despite characters like Rayman and Dixie Kong being really memorable users to me, it probably doesn't have enough examples to be distinct. I'd support sending it to TRS.

I think they’re more sister tropes, since humans can use Helicopter Hair too (as shown in the image) but the two can overlap like with Dixie Kong
PSA: a cat is not a dogThis is the best quality I could get for Gerti (from this clip), unless someone has it on Blu-ray or an HD digital copy/streaming:
I did find a higher quality version of my original Gerti suggestion◊, though.
Keet cleanupEven the BR version has considerable motion blur.

That one is definitely better in quality, but I prefer the ones where we can see her floating. Also, 6 > 16, because while 16 has higher resolution, it's also more blurry, so it's not really better quality.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.^ A portrait format as in 6 or 16 doesn't go well with the space available in the description section.
Can we see 6 at Blu-ray quality anyway?
Keet cleanupAdded above.
17.3. It may be a bit tall for the text, but not overly so.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.(Annoyed grunt)
The picture is a Visual Pun photo, rather than an actual example, and this isn't a trope that's hard to illustrate.
My main suggestion would be the "The helicopter in Rayman 3" picture on this page (it won't let me link to it, but I'm pretty sure it's official artwork): https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Helicopter
Dixie Kong is another character who could probably provide another good image, but I couldn't find one.
This is my first Image Pickin' thread and I'm pretty nervous about it. I don't want to just take up the limited space.
