Do We Have This One?? Needs a Better Description

Gain the power of Flight ... through your hair! No doubt Everything's Better with Spinning.

See Heli Critter for animal examples.

Examples:

Anime and Manga

Film - Live Action
  • Gertie Giggles' pigtails can spin in circles, giving her this ability. Justified because she's a pre-teen superspy and probably has some high-tech machinery embedded in her pigtails that makes them spin.

Literature
  • Shel Silverstein wrote a poem about a boy with ridiculously long hair who was mercilessly teased about it until his weeping caused it to flap like wings, carrying him into the air.

Video Games
  • Rayman: One of the titular hero's trademark abilities is to spin his hair like helicopter blades, giving him limited gliding ability (and in some games, genuine flight).

Western Animation
  • Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy: Ed manages to make Eddy's hair spin fast enough for him to fly when they try to catch a balloon.
  • The Fairly OddParents: as the result of a wish gone wrong, Timmy ended up with a hair tornado.

Is this only for hair that twirls? Because, if not, Starfire 0f the Teen Titans (in the comics) has hair that seems to function as some sort of propulsion device.

Can't be too strict about this being hair, or else you'll miss out on Snoopy.

In Azumanga Daioh, Osaka fantasizes that Chiyo Chan can use her pigtails like this.

    Doesn't Heli Critter cover this?

Yep, any animal at least is covered by Heli Critter. Not sure if people doing it is different enough to split off.

^ If he at least hovers, then it counts. So, does he hover?

I still think Helicopter Hair works best. It's just a title anyway - in Osaka's dream, Chiyo-chan's pigtails act more like flapping wings than helicopter blades but that's still an example, right? Limiting it to hair acting like helicopter blades might turn it into Chairs Sit On People, and if it's just because of the name...

^ Hmm, this may be difficult, given this is about hair spinning to fly. I'll accept it still.
