Unclear Description: Keet

Another example I don't think qualifies, in Yes-Man's folder on Fallout: New Vegas - The Strip:

I feel like all of those examples are ZCEs anyway.

Agreed. I have never heard of those and those dont provide enough context.

So, remove Keet from the Space and Wave Cores and Yes Man because they're not stand-ins for a female audience? Also, what to do with the page quote and Laconic?

I believe this in Tweek's folder on South Park: Other Students is also misuse:

• Keet: Even though his hyperactivity comes from the fact that he's paranoid and scared, not happy. He can still have serious badass moments when he gets angry.

I removed Keet from Yes Man's folder, but there's another dubious Fallout: New Vegas example on Fallout: New Vegas - Old World Blues:

• Keet: Muggy's adorable, perpetually cheerful mug makes him seem like this, but it's subverted: he's a tiny ball of hate, self-loathing and neuroses who is well aware of being all these things, which just fills him with even more rage.

Changed it to that. Should I delete it from Tweek and the Space and Wave Cores?

After hearing what Muggy sounds like, I don't think Stepford Smiler fits either.

Since TRS is backlogged, any objections to making a project thread for the trope so we can get this thread out of the way?

That sounds fine: the definition issues seem to be resolved, with only cleanup (minus the Video Games subpage) left.

I'd like to see other people weigh in on the proposed new description.

The only think I could see missing is these are not treated as 'Annoying' or 'Bratty' but seen as 'Lovable' and 'Cute'.

And in Yaoi works he is a romance option, often a primary romance option.

I feel like in-universe it can be annoying to the characters, but out-of-universe it is meant to be endearing.

That works.

Oh, they can be a Manic Pixie Dream Guy to said Tall, Dark, and Handsome or occasionally a Tall, Dark and Bishoujo they are paired with for a Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy or Pitbull Dates Puppy dynamic. Romance not required.

The Laconic also needs to be changed; it's currently "A cutesy, hyperactive guy," which is way too similar to Genki Girl's Laconic.

Bumping to get more consensus input on what to do with the description and laconic.
