That looks badass.
Guessing that story is about Russia prolonging the cold war? (edit: derp, didn't look at the first post)
Eventhen, it's so spooky how there's a bathtub filled with blood and something in it like they tried to make it come to life

It's... probably the most entertainingly bizarre, least blatantly surreal video game world I've ever seen.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The dev team are also releasing a VR shooter called Soviet Lunapark VR that 's supposed to be in the same universe as Atomic Heart (does it count as a Gaiden Game if it's released before the main game is released ?)

Soviet Fallout, eh? I can get behind that!

This... thing... I'm not sure if it has weapons, but there's no way in hell I'm getting close to it
I like how oddly surreal this game is in a good way.
Very eerie. It looks very interesting. It's supposed to be a huge open world of horror, and I like every sound of that.
So when it says "Meets We Happy Few", that's supposed to be a good thing about the game, right?
Because We Happy Few was...kind of garbage upon release.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI honestly don't get any We Happy Few vibes from this? This game looks really surreal and eerie in a way I haven't quite seen in awhile and I just have more and more questions each time they release more gameplay of it. We Happy Few just kind of petered out mystery wise really early on.
When I first watched it I thought it had that bizarre "everything is happy-looking but actually really creepy underneath" vibe that WHF had.
Rewatching the trailer though the horror is more on the surface than hidden. I could ask for a mod to take out that part of the title but I'm lazy.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I hate to say it, but I've read rumors that the development behind this game is an unfocused mess. Makes for an intriguing trailer, but the people behind the game may have little better idea of what it's about than we do.
Still hopeful though, 'cause damn if it isn't really intriguing.
this place needs me hereThats unsurprising but sad to hear if thats the case. There has been a few games that I have had my eyes on that seems to be having troubled developments.
Ever since White Knight Chronicles I've learned not to trust videogame trailers.

latest update trailer, still looks weird
I was curious about this game, it is good that it is still going on.
Gamescom trailer
Those twin robots are pretty popular on the internet. Can't imagine why...
I'd never heard of this until I saw this video, which, unfortunately, alleges some seriously shady practices went into this game. tl;dr of it is that, at least according to the person here, a lot of the stakeholders here have ties to the Russian military and big business, which in light of the current war and the game depicting an alternate "utopian" Russia who "won" the Cold War... certainly carries some disturbing undercurrents.
Welp, guess that made the decision of whether or not to get this game easier.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWTF?
That's messed up.
But it would provide some excellent research opportunities.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. In some fairness I guess, if your based in Russia I'm not sure its possible to avoid dealing with the Russian government.
To quote one guy I know on the subject, they aren't going to just say "fuck Putin" when they live in the middle of a dictatorship. Silence is kind of the preferred option here.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Pretty much what the title says, or at least that's the vibe I got from it.
