Suggestion: Vanity Window

It's one of the Video Game Interface Elements, making it visual and so, it should have a picture?

Well, found a smaller one◊, that's cropped to have more of the game in focus. It's 336 x 240.

The trope is about something in the corner of the shot, so it's not in focus either way. ... Maybe I should try to find another game.

The source for screenshots would be the game itself, not the site hosting it, right?

At least VideoGame.Space Harrier links to a nice big example◊, from MobyGames.

I've got a VideoGame.Real Lives screenshot of the main screen◊ that's showing the game showing its logo.

Then there's a submenu or something◊, that has the logo in the upper left corner.

If that counts, the trope on its page isn't saying so, if Vanity Window has to be part of the Main Window...

VideoGame.Real Lives:

• Vanity Window: The map in the center of the screen is the only window which can't be hidden. It's also the window most likely to get in your way (especially if you're using a widescreen monitor)
