1.2 >>> 1.1 primarily because I can't see the gun the SWAT guy's holding in that shot.
You sure you can't splice Reynolds' character and the Joker? OK, sure, one is The Dark Knight and the other is Smokin' Aces, but the definition of "crooks are better armed" is definitely that Joker picture (I agree that the SWAT guy you can't see what he's using).
In 1.1 the first part is too dark, but the second is clear.
In 1.2 I can't see who I'm supposed to root for, but the weapons are clear.
In 4.1 I can clearly see both who's a villain and who's better armed.
Check out my fanfiction!4 isn't loading for me.
I uploaded 4 to TV Tropes' servers for you.
4 has a copyright notice on the right edge

(Annoyed grunt)Yeah, that's a copyrighted pic.
EDIT: Also, I really have to look closely to see what the kids are holding, and that's another strike.

Regarding 1.2 and possibly unclear allegiance: what about Good Colors, Evil Colors?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Isn't Vader one of those characters we consider to be recognisable as a villain without further context?
Check out my fanfiction!I'm not fond of either suggestions TBH. 4.1 probably is the best, though I'd like something from a media.

This signature says something else when you aren't looking at it.I could live with that.
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less. That's not bad.
15 works I guess.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I can go with 15.
(Annoyed grunt)Succinct and to the point. 15
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"We've got enough consensus to go with 15, so it's up and tagged; caption?
No caption discussion; locking up.
Two suggestions I'd like to field for this trope:
