Always interesting to see a game going with the Episodic Game format, a friend of mine said games like The Council and Bendy and the Ink Machine would lead to a lot more of the smaller dev teams adopting episodic release

From what I understand, the story is interesting, the characters include George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte, but the voice acting fucking sucks. The RPG elements are supposed to be amazing.

So, Focus Home Interactive has a new game called The Council. It's an adventure/RPG hybrid about a One World Order during the 18th century. You pick a class and skills that affect the story of the game as it plays. ie. Be a Diplomat, Occultist or Detective.
It's something that "your actions have consequences" games have been inching towards. I'm looking forward to this one.
