Funny I should hear about this right after watching Bobsheaux's review on the 1989 movie.
It'll be interesting to see where this goes. Looks like it has some good talent on board, so that's a plus.
"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."The TMS Little Nemo movie is not really that bad - especially considering all the talent behind it (especially the director, Masami Hata, who directed the lovely, beautiful Ringing Bell and A Journey Through Fairyland.)
It doesn't feel much like Mc Cay's work, though, except for the beginning dream sequence, which really captures the feel of a Mc Cay strip.
If this one can figure a way to really replicate the feel of Mc Cay's work I'll be sold.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I hope it has better story and execution in this version.
A new animated Little Nemo movie is coming soon!
It's coming from ON Animation (Mark Osborne's The Little Prince) and is being directed by Hyrum Osmond (head of animation on Moana), who's rather psyched about it:
Hopefully, it'll turn a lot better than the last movie, right?
