In entertainment news, rumors have been swirling for months that NCS 3, the network behind the reality show Nemesis, is working on something new. Well, today, we have managed to secure a personal interview with one of the executives of NCS 3 regarding these rumors. We take you now to our entertainment corespondent.

Thanks. I'm sitting here with Mr Thompson. Welcome to the show

Pleased to be here.

So tell us about these rumors. What are you cooking up down there?

Yes, well, as you know, Nemesis was launched with the intention of being our hit flagship show. The idea was simple in concept. Take heroes and villains from across the multiverse, throw them together on teams based on morality, one hero, the other villain, and watch the sparks fly. Sadly, while initial ratings were high, they tampered off and did not recover to an acceptable degree. And so we have decided that the time has come to scrap Nemesis completely, and come up with a new concept.

Can you tell us more about this?

Our new show, called Pandemonium, has some of the same elements. Groups of people from across the multiverse will be thrown into a house, forced to compete against one another, with the prize of technology and wealth beyond their wildest dreams. However, we are scrapping the team based format. Feedback from our viewers suggested that they did not like the team format, and with battle royal style competitions all the rage these days, we felt a more.....traditional setup was in order.

Is that the only thing that will be changing?

Now that we no longer need to fit people into teams of heroes of villains, you can expect to see a more diverse set of moralities and personalities in the house. Speaking of, we have a new house as well. And with the format change, you can expect a much wider variety of challenges for the contestants to compete in. In short, we view this as almost a completely different show. We encourage everyone, from current fans of Nemesis to old fans who grew tired of it, to people completely new to the show, to give Pandemonium a try.

One last question. Rumor has it that Liberty Mc Trustworthy, the old host of Nemesis, has been fired. Any truth to this?

Sadly, he did not quite click with our fanbase, and so we are dismissing him from the show. In his place, we have hired the lovely and dangerous Sidney Knight.

Oh. Well, that'll be a change from Liberty for sure. Tune into Pandemonium to see what all the fuss is about! Check your local listings for times, or log onto Pandemonium.mtv for details. Back to you, Ken!

Hello people, and welcome to AGOG: Pandemonium! Short version, once, there was a game, called Nemesis. Built as the "Team game" of our series of games, with a Heroes vs Villains concept. I took over as GM shortly after the first challenge in that game got underway, and while I tried my best to keep the thing running, various issues beyond my control due to the format of the game ate away at our playerbase. So now I aim to correct this with a soft reboot of the game. What that means is that while everything that happened in Nemesis is still considered canon, I view this as a new game, a fresh start. And I'm looking for players!

The idea is simple. Your chosen character has been kidnapped from their home universe and thrown into the worst fate one can imagine-reality TV! As a contestant on the multiverse spanning show Pandemonium, you will be thrown into a wide varirity of challenges. You may have to fight other characters in battle, you might have to run a business and compete to make the most money, you might have to race to the finish line in a wacky city where any number of things can happen. When you are not competing in a challenge, all of your characters will be thrown into a reality show style mansion to have shenanigans happen.

Now for the non-fun but important parts. Rules.

  • Signup Rules
    • 1-Only two characters per player. Once we get established and set and everyone is used to the pace, I may be willing to allow more then 2 on a case by case basis, but for the moment, 2 is the limit.
    • 2-Duos, AKA characters who work better as a pair then alone, such as Jak and Dexter, are allowed on a case by case basis. if you have an idea for a duo you wanna play, shoot it at me and I'll look at it.
    • 3-Powerlevels will be looked at. I don't have a hard guideline, I do my own evaluations on a case by case basis, but those who know me will tell you I have a specific list of "auto ban" powers. Time powers, large scale healing, anything mental related, that sort of thing. If you're unsure, I encourage you to ask me before you go through all the effort of making a signup just for me to tell you it's unworkable.
    • 4-I reserve the right to make alterations to nerfs or add additional nerfs as the situation may demand. I am not perfect, I might not forsee everything a power can do, or a power might interact with another characters power in a way I do not expect and make them more powerful then I will allow. That does not mean I'm forced to just shrug my shoulders because I already accepted your signup, that means I'm going to just say "Nope, not going to happen". I'm a fair person and completely willing to hear counterarguments to nerfs, but at the end of the day, I'm the GM, and what I say goes.
    • 5-Characters from Nemesis are allowed, and will be auto-accepted without a need for me to re-review your signup. Just indicate your willingness to rejoin please!

  • Gameplay Rules
    • 1-No Autohitting, meaning no assuming your attack connects without giving the other player a chance to react/dodge without explicit permission from the other player. I read every post, I will not hesitate to question you if I see anything funny looking.
    • 2-No Ghosting, which means that I expect everyone to play fair. If a character fires a pistol at the back of your skull from 2 feet away without your knowing they are there, you better not somehow manage to dodge the attack and take no damage. Again, I read the posts, I will notice.
    • 3-No controlling other characters. Pretty self explanatory, don't do anything that assumes any given character not under your control does something without direct permission. If you're having a problem with your character being stuck in a scene due to a player not posting, contact me, and we'll work it out.
    • 4-Keep it PG-13. I don't care if your character starts cursing up a storm but nothing that breaks forum rules or is going to get bans thrown around. I'll be more then happy to kick you out and send a report to mods before that happens.

With all that done, here's the signup.

  • Personality: Tell me what to expect from this character when they open their mouths, or what's going on inside that braincase.
  • Backstory: You don’t need to go into extraneous details and tell us everything in a seventeen page story, just the essential backstory of your character. Help us get to know him/her/them/it.
  • Powers/Abilities: Any racial traits beyond normal human should go here too. If you feel they’re too powerful for the game as-is, feel free to tell us here what you’re taking away.
  • Equipment: What do they have in their pockets? Note for this game that characters will have access to a personal closet. If there's something you'd like to have that isn't easily portable, include it and we can talk, but keep in mind I'm not going to accept anything over the top.

I know I've had some issues in regards to sticking with an AGOG game recently, even back when Nemesis first started. But hey, it's all water under the bridge, right? H-Hopefully?

  • Name: Jimmy Hopkins
  • Age: 15
  • Appearance: The big kid on campus (although he isn't that tall)
  • Universe: Bully
  • Personality: Jimmy can be described as a "problem child". The scars on his head aren't for show; his short temper, disregard for rules and a penchant for violence means he gets into a lot of fights. While he saves the insults and harassment for his peers, Jimmy meets the authority figures in his life with the kind of sarcastic smart-assery you'd expect from a kid like him. Ultimately, however, Jimmy is a good kid - the main target for his aggression are the bullies who pick on and use the people beneath them. Even if some innocents get caught in the crossfire, Jimmy has always stood up for those who need it. He only offers the respect he's given (though just because he respects you doesn't mean he'll be nice) so the best way to get on his not-so-bad side is to not be an immediate jerk.
  • Backstory: Jimmy had a tough time growing up, going through schools faster than he went through stepfathers. After his seventh expulsion, Jimmy was sent to Bullworth Academy, the "worst and toughest school in the country". Jimmy was given an ultimatum: if he got expelled from Bullworth, it would be straight to juvenile detention. Given the academy's clique-based hierarchy and the ceaseless fighting between the student body, Jimmy had a lot ahead of him. Just walking through the gate made him the target of anyone looking for a fight (which happened to be a lot of people). The Dean was entirely clueless to the extent of the school's bullying problem and most of the teachers only exacerbated it, so Jimmy was largely on his own. Enter Gary, the first student to not try to beat Jimmy up on sight, and the closest thing to a friend he's had for a while. Gary had bigger aspirations than Jimmy, plans to rule the entire school...and Jimmy was his key to it. Gary taught Jimmy the ins-and-outs of Bullworth and helped him get his bearings, hoping to groom Hopkins into the tool needed to take over the various cliques.
    • Such a 'friendship' didn't last long, however, as Gary grew paranoid of Jimmy's potential to betray him. After luring Jimmy into a fight with the leader of the Bully clique, Jimmy had gained the respect of the primary threat and set them straight. Jimmy went on to similarly conquer and control the other cliques throughout the year. That is, until Gary struck. Right when things were more-or-less peaceful at Bullworth - all thanks to Jimmy - Gary set it up so Jimmy would take the fall for vandalizing the neighboring town, getting him finally expelled from the school. And with Jimmy out of the picture, Bullworth Academy fell to pieces. Anarchy reigned, and it wasn't until the school was really out of control that Jimmy stepped in to pick up the pieces and take Gary down. His innocence revealed, the Dean reinstated Jimmy's education, the two coming to a mutual understanding, allowing Jimmy to finish his education in peace.
  • Abilities:
    • Fighting: Obviously, Jimmy knows his way around a rumble. He's fought about the right number for a small army with little else but his bare fists. He knows how to fight dirty, how to give a mean right hook, how to headbutt without knocking himself out, and how to sometimes pick up a two-by-four for the added edge. He's also able to take a pretty good beating - not super-human levels, but more than you'd expect from a dumpy 15 year old.
    • Good Aim: Whether it be shooting or throwing, Jimmy's got a sharp eye and a strong arm.
    • Basic Chemistry: Who knew school actually taught useful skills? Jimmy isn't an expert chemist, but he knows how to mix things together and make stuff out of it. He can make his Firecrackers, Stink Bombs, and Itching Powder too.
  • Equipment:
    • Super Slingshot: A fancy slingshot that comes with a scope. Able to fire small things like rocks. Packs quite the sting, and can even knock a normal guy out with a good headshot.
    • Camera: A basic digital camera for taking pictures.
    • Skateboard: It's a skateboard. That's really it.
    • Firecrackers: Small explosives that are a bit more dangerous than the name lets on. They flash and bang bigger and louder than your ordinary firework, and even pop with greater force that can harm people caught in the blast!
    • Stink Bombs: Specially-made, Jimmy's stink bombs are nothing to sneeze at. The bombs produce a large patch of green smoke in a small area and smell downright awful. Said bombs are kept in the beakers they're made in, so having a glass bottle thrown at you is going to hurt on top of the smell.
    • Bag of Marbles: An ordinary bag of marbles. Jimmy's main use for them is tripping up pursuers or tossing them in a group to topple their ranks.
    • Itching Powder: Powder that makes people itch. Really only useful as a distraction, or just to pull some pranks.
    • Rubber Band Ball: A baseball-sized ball of blue rubber bands, 75 in total. With a good throw Jimmy can send the ball ricocheting around a room, with enough force behind it to really wallop whoever it hits.
    • Spud Gun: A pump-action gun that shoots spuds. Jimmy's arsenal is pretty self-explanatory, huh? Due to being made by Nerds, the Spud Gun is decently powerful with a long range. Can hold and shoot up to 8 spuds.
    • Bottle Rocket Launcher: Another piece of Nerd technology, this beauty is one of Jimmy's most brutal weapons. Essentially the kid-friendly version of your normal rocket launcher, the bottle rockets explode on impact and do some significant hurting. The downside is that the rockets are inaccurate and don't fly far, making the Launcher something of a last resort. Holds 3 rockets at a time.

So I had to discuss this with the G Ms briefly. The concern here is that, despite the fact that I don't intend for this game to be focused on combat, Jimmy here may be a tad.....underpowered, and I'm not terribly sure how seriously most of the other characters will take a random schoolkid, having yet no idea what our roster is going to end up looking like. I am not against this, willing to accept ya, but I wanna be sure you know what you're potentially getting into here.

I know, part of the reason I picked him. I love playing comparatively weak characters, your Badass Normal types or someone more about playing their character than fighting good.

Plus, every reality show needs an underdog, right? (Of course I can change if people think it'll be too big a problem)

Alright then, you are accepted

Also don't be surprised if someone tries to teach Jimmy how to use a proper gun at some point.

  • Name: Maestro Ionia Achtelnote
  • Age: yo can i get uuhhhhhhhhh
  • Appearance: Yeah, and her on the right, for how she looks in color. Her eyes are kinda funky, they're supposed to look like whole rests and she's got pointy bits on her shoes.
  • Universe: Yumekui Merry
  • Personality: Preeminantly haughty and snobbish. Her appreciation of the finer things in life really extends only to herself, her sister, and any music she deems worth listening to. Everyone else is a simpleton (she really has a fondness for that word), all other music is garbage, and so on and so forth. Beating up people is enjoyable enough, but that's usually marred by them being quite loud while dying. As she has no knowledge of anything besides her previous existence, a new world might be a bit confusing. She has a twin, and it's the dress-the-same finish-your-sentences work-together-on-everything kind of sibling bond, where aside from Ionia being a bit more irritable they could be truly identical. Therefore, not having that other half to work with might be even more confusing...
  • Backstory: Ionia and her twin sister, Aeolia, are entities born of the collective human psyche, the remains of passions and desires held by men and women through the ages, referred to as Nightmares. For a period of time that cannot be measured or known, their existence was completely static, unformed, and single-minded. Their countless days were spent refining the discarded dreams of humans into a pure form of music. An endless repretoire of nothing but masterpieces in composition, and yet they were singularly alone in their enjoyment. There were indeed other such beings as them, but they were too self-interested to care about the creations of others. And so, they languished for an eternity, doing as they were wont to do, but never truly understanding why. Then came a brief view of another world. The world of the awake. The world of the humans they derived themselves from. Out there was a marvelous existence where one was not limited to one form of ingrained expression, where one could strive to become anything and be recognized for it! A land full of people who dream every night, creating mutable and wildly different worlds and scenarios simply as a byproduct of the mind's activity. O, how could one not lust for such a divine existence? To become something more than your base elements, to be real? That is what drove the Maestros to find a way into reality, and that meant find a physical host for themselves. Willing, or not. To this end, they found the pliant mind of one Nao Horie, a student of the musical arts herself, and invaded deep within her psyche. Consuming her dreams with the intent of eventually taking over her waking mind on a permanent basis, the Achtelnote's dreams of finally entering the real world were so, so close...
    • and then they got the shit beat out of them and kicked back to the dream world the end
  • Powers/Equipment:
    • bein not normal: Ionia is a Nightmare, so she gets an excuse for having anime powers on at all times. Her pain tolerance and durability are can-get-her-arm-cut-off-and-not-pass-out-immediately,-in-fact-when-this-happens-to-her-sister-she-just-looks-more-shocked-than-in-shock levels, and somewhere near the level of "peak human" in other categories.
    • hearin good: Her hearing is extremely refined and precise. Even in the middle of a full orchestral performance, she can hear the sounds of bones creaking, skin stretching and hearts beating as clear as anything else. Aside from the relatively limited use of spotting people who are otherwise stealthy, this is mostly a pain in the butt. It's dreadful, having to hear absolutely everything around you with the same level of attention as everything else. She's existed with it for long enough that it's mostly an annoyance instead of something crippling, but a loud enough cacophony that she didn't engineer herself might be disorienting, and even worse, debilitating.
    • puppet shit: She's got a little puppet dude on her right hand. It's a magic puppet! Yeah! Without it being affixed there, she can't do any of the following.
      • Score: Her main method of killing dudes, this involves concentrating large blasts of pure sonic power into fixed points. Alongside the ability to do great damage, like, break-up-concrete-like-everything-is-made-out-of-in-anime damage, these attacks also tend to temporarily deafen people. To counteract how it's rather hard to dodge entirely invisible projectiles, a marker that usually appears as glowing, crossing musical staffs where the attack will land is there, along with how Ionia must loudly say some vaguely musical-sounding term to make it happen that somewhat mirrors how the attack will manifest. Appasionato equals a wide, strong blast, pianissimo is a light attack, acciaccatura is all-out, etc.
      • Score: Note: Ionia can summon two things. One, large quantities of note-headed men shaped like her puppet, which have no purpose other than playing instruments. Secondly, big 'ol eigth-note monsters with teeth (let's limit her to one-at-a-time) that aren't terribly strong or durable. They really only can bite. However, they float, and are soft enough to make for very good seats.
      • Score: Pause: Given about a minute of uninterrupted time, she can regenerate limbs. These slightly different-looking extremeties are a bit stretchier than normal, allowing for a few extra feet worth of reach.
      • Vibratory Bulwark: Concentrating fully on the space in front of her, Ionia can form aural energy into a very sturdy barrier, one that's very good at blocking almost all projectile attacks. Physical movements and strikes can easily pass through them, but otherwise it's very hard to break the sound barrier.

This is a....weird signup. But ok.

  • Score: Pause: 15 seconds is too low for limb regen. Way too low. I'm thinking at minimum at least a minute if it's like, a hand or something. Longer for actual full limbs, maybe something like 3 minutes.
  • Vibratory Bulwark: I need more details. How strong is this barrier? What would be sufficient enough to break it? How big is it? And can it be seen?

#8: Feb 2nd 2018 at 12:40:51 AM

  • sure
  • this is probably mostly caused by a-month-ago-me's desire to include a lame sound barrier pun. it's fairly strong, the example given only broke after OP deuteragonist character sliced at it; in the most abstract terms possible it'd probably be broken by the average superpowered character's stronger attacks, it's as large as and kind of shaped like a door, and it is visible as a kind of darker three-dimensional shape

Meanken Since: May, 2013
#9: Feb 2nd 2018 at 12:50:33 AM

I'm not a particularly large fan of this power due to the ease through which it could be used to block things like doors, which people without sufficiently strong attacks would have no answer to. I will compromise. You can have the power, but it will only be able to block quick ranged attacks. Thrown objects, bullets, and such. The barrier will not be able to stop actual people or slow objects from passing through. Fair?

  • Name: Akira Fudo
  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: Huge and menacing, with eyeliner built into his face. He has a partial transformation and a full transformation as the properly iconic Devilman.
  • Universe: DEVILMA Ncrybaby (god, let's hope that potholes correctly)
  • Personality: Fundamentally a really intense and empathetic guy. Kind of a romantic in the old timey sense, believing in the power of compassion, redemption, and intense emotion. He's really adamant that anyone can be a Devilman, in a sort of metaphorical sense about redemption when displaced from the context of his own world. In a bit of an existential crisis right now, though, because he's seen those ideals fail. He doesn't really understand where exactly he went wrong at present though and he's doing a lot of processing to figure it out; he's covering it up by eating a lot and watching a lot of TV and otherwise trying to affect a disconnection from the world around him even though he'd probably jump at the chance to receive help from someone. Cries openly, and cries a lot.
  • Backstory: Akira Fudo was, by all accounts, the first human to become possessed by a demon and overcome its will in order to retain the heart of a human, becoming a Devilman. His life after his possession had an overall arc from superhero, to messiah, to warleader or general, but overall things went really bad where he was from. Apocalyptically bad, ending in the death of him and all other life on Earth. He woke up in Pandemonium safe and sound after that final altercation, which was definitely a shock.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Even in his base form Akira is superhuman, fast and strong for a kid his age. His physical abilities increase as he shifts more and more into a Devilman; fully transformed he sprouts wings, claws, and teeth that can tear monsters to pieces, but he's also still notably mortal; bullets and blades easily hurt him, though it's questionable how much he feels pain from it. His own punches can even hurt him, hard enough to make the recoil from one failed punch absolutely chum his arms. Transforming also takes a ton of energy, and intense sources of trauma or anxiety can mess his head up and make him into a monstrous brute driven mostly by id.
    • On the more supernatural side Akira can project heat intense enough to flash-steam water, either radiating from his body or in the form of flashy fireballs. He can also regenerate his wounds over time, though this seems to take around 6 hours of concentrated rest.
  • Equipment: Probably just a closet stocked with stylish black clothes; he formerly had a cellphone and a slick black motorcycle, but he probably lost both of those around Episode 8 or 9 of Crybaby, it's a little unclear and unimportant.

Meanken Since: May, 2013
#11: Feb 2nd 2018 at 9:57:43 AM

Ok so this mostly looks good. My one minor issue is the thing about him projecting heat around him. How exactly does that work, is it visible fire he has to summon up or does he just suddenly set the air temperature at like 200 degrees or whatever? My issue here is I don't want him to just be able to wave his hand and incinerate anyone nearby him.

Taco Since: Jan, 2001
#12: Feb 2nd 2018 at 10:14:22 AM

The one time Akira projects heat around himself instead of conjuring actual fire it's to evaporate some water inside of him so if it's an aura at all it's no more than a few inches around him, and he noticeably concentrates, flexes, and exerts himself for a few seconds to do it, so he can't keep this aura up during a punch or grapple or anything. Does that make it workable?

  • Name: Morgana
  • Age: ???
  • Appearance: Cat-[1] Bipedal-[2] Car-[3] Bipedal form is only about 1 ft 8 inches tall.
  • Universe: Persona 5 [4]
  • Personality: Morgana considers himself a master thief and a gentleman, and 100 percent definitely not a cat. He's nosy, likes to be in control, and has a large, easily bruised ego. He acts with confidence, talks as if he is superior, and is quick to call out the failures of others, but he fears that he's actually useless and has no real place to belong beneath his "over-masculine" front. This makes him a bit clingy to friends and lash out at those who insult him, even if it's a joke. He sometimes exhibits catlike behavior, like meowing, giving himself tongue baths, or reacting oddly to shiny objects, but he can quickly rein himself back in. Even with all of his flaws and occasional reckless behavior to show that he's tough and independent, he's loyal to those he considers allies and will not sell them out to anyone. Morgana is noticeably nicer to women than men, but he can get along with anyone with enough time to adjust.

  • Backstory: Morgana is a mysterious creature found locked in the dungeons of Kamoshida's Palace, a warped area in the cognitive world known as the Metaverse. After being freed, he made a pact with a group of Persona users to help them become Phantom Thieves, teaching them about the Metaverse and how to steal hearts to bring justice to the people of Tokyo and gain notoriety. In exchange, they would help him explore the depths of Mementos, a tangled labyrinth of Tokyo's subconscious, in hopes of finding his lost memories. He can't remember much before a few months ago, but has a desire to search Palaces for treasures, which he is drawn to, and believes that his true form has been warped by the Metaverse itself in some way. Morgana hopes that finding his memories will give him the human form he believes he once had.

In truth, Morgana is a being created by Igor, a powerful being who runs the Velvet Room. Morgana was made by the leftover hope humanity has, and was meant to guide the Persona 5 Protagonist on his journey to break free of the false god Yaldabaoth's game and free humanity from being manipulated.

  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Persona- Zorro [5] can be summoned by Morgana to perform a variety of magic and physical skills, though this eats away at his energy and he can't spam his stronger spells very much without having to take a rest. Hitting Zorro hurts Morgana as well, and if his concentration is broken, it disappears and must be called on again. It grants Morgana resistance to Wind based magic but also gives him a weakness to Electricity in return.
      • Zorro can attack with the powerful wind spell Garudyne, cutting into a foe with a tornado of sharpened air. Magarula is a weaker version that can strike up to four targets at once, and Garula is a single target variant.
      • Diarahan heals the majors wounds of a single person as long as they are still conscious, but takes a minute or so to finish and does nothing for lost limbs or non-physical injuries. Mediarama is a weaker healing spell that can cover up to 4 people at once. Recarm can revive those that are close to death, but only heals some of their wounds.
      • Sukunda can affect a superhuman target with a temporary drop to their usual speed and reaction time if it connects, bringing then down to normal human speed for only a couple minutes. Miracle Punch is just a technique where Zorro stabs or punches someone, but it's not very strong compared to its magical power.
    • Thieving Skills- Morgana is pretty well versed in how to sneak around areas undetected, clinging to shadows, hiding in small spaces, moving near silently, and is familiar with various security measures like lasers and trapdoors. He's got an eye for finding alternative ways to get to his destination, like vents or holes in walls. He can pick non-electronic locks and even knows how to make separate lock-picks or homemade smoke bombs out of scrap pieces.
    • Cat Skills- He's agile, and can jump large gaps or fall from a good height with incredible balance, just like any normal cat. he's also got a working set of claws and a painful bite. He's a little more fragile due to his small frame though, and can't take too many physical hits compared to a regular person.
    • Swordsman and Marksman- Give Morgana a curved sword, and he can hold his own in a fight pretty easily as long as his opponent isn't too big to handle. He's got some respectable aim with a slingshot or similar weapons too.
    • Shapeshifting- Morgana can switch between his Cat, Bipedal, and Car forms, though his Persona can only be used while Bipedal. His Car form can hold up to 8 people comfortably, with three rows of leather seating. He doesn't require gas to run, and has working headlights and an engine that starts with a push of a button, but his AC is crappy. He can control all the doors and even open up the back hatch, but requires someone to actually drive him to steer and move.
  • Equipment:
    • Scimitar- A fancy curved blade that's almost as big as he is, but he seems to have no problem using it.
    • Slingshot and Ammo- A powerful slingshot that can shoot metal pellets hard enough to rival a gun in pain, but it won't pierce through armor well at all and has a pretty slow firing speed.
    • Vanish Balls- These self-made smoke bombs can be dropped to create a white smokescreen for a few seconds, usually enough time for Morgana to slip away from a situation.
    • Utility Belt- A belt he has access to in his Bipedal form. It has multiple pockets for small objects, and he can somehow store his sword and slingshot inside as well.

Review follows

  • Diarahan-Even if it takes a minute to do, I feel like full healing of all wounds is a little much. I'd suggest this be lowered to healing major wounds, but not a complete total heal. Naturally, things such as severed limbs, massive blood loss, and so forth will not really be healable.
  • Masukunda- I'm kinda iffy on this. Debuff powers are somewhat difficult to balance sometimes. Slowing down someone with normal human reaction times against some of the cast we have is just unfair. So here is what I will say. This move will only work against people with superhuman reflexes, effectively bringing them back down to human levels for the duration of the move. Anyone who is already at that level will be unaffected. Also, single target only. Is that acceptable?

Sure, I've edited my post to add the changes. Masukunda has been changed to just Sukunda so it's single target only as well.

Apropos of Devilman, lets bring more classic anime into this!

  • Name: 004
  • Age: 30 (technically 70)
  • Appearance: The Living Weapon, more Man than Machine!
  • Universe: Cyborg 009
  • Personality: 004 is outwardly an aloof, thoughtful, calm and somewhat stoic individual. He makes an effort not to be cold and to ward back his cynism as he is genuinely a good, warm person, but it doesn't come natural to him to display it. He still has certain issues with his humanity and his condition as a cyborg/weapon, but he's dealing with them with consistent success.
  • Backstory: Albert Heinrich grew up in Eastern Germany in the decades after World War II, the young man found himself betrothed to his beloved Hilde, and both of them resolved to escape their oppressive country and marry in freedom. The plan was to smuggle themselves across the border using a lorry and some forged identifications, Albert drove while Hilde hid in the cargo hold.
It didn't go well, the guard's noticed his id was fake and inquired about him and his cargo. Albert panicked and tried to ram through the border gate's and escape, as the border guard opened fire. The couple ended up crashing into a cliff and presumed dead as the truck exploded. Albert survived but was grievously wounded when the criminal group Black Ghost. Much of his body was beyond saving, but his brain and nervous system were in good conditions, so what was beyond healing was bit by bit replaced by bionic components and weaponry, Albert, now named Cyborg Soldier 004 by Black Ghost ended up becoming a mostly mechanic living weapon. After a few botched tests and a failed escape attempt him and the rest of the first generation of 00-Cyborgs were put in cryogenic sleep until Black Ghost was ready to use them, have technology advance to upgrade them and control them better. When they were woken again, 40 years later, after the completion of the 00-cyborg project he and the 8 other subjects escaped to freedom. Afterwards they travelled the globe, fighting Black Ghost and reclaiming a semblance of a normal life.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Military Training & Tactics: Imprinted to him by Black Ghost and then improved by his own experience, 004 has the knowledge and skill to engage targets at many ranges.
    • Cyborg Body: 004's body was mostly converted into machinery, enhancing his physical capabilities, and he looks outwardly robotic, his parts need maintenance and to be replaced if damaged, however on account of his organic side he still does need what most living beings do; he still breathes, he still gets tired, he still gets hungry and still feel pain(if dulled due to his robotic exterior), best of both worlds as it were.
      • Physical enhancements: While by no means the strongest or fastest of the 00-cyborg, 004 still has capabilities that go beyond the peak human in terms of speed, strength, and endurance.
      • Machine gun hand: his right hand has been converted into a 4 barrelled machine gun that can be used at will, fingers locking straight when in used and flexible when not, it can be covered with a synthetic skin glove(or just a regular glove) when not in use to avoid detection. Can get loaded with different ammo if necessary.
      • Electromagnetic Knife: His left hand conceals an enhanced blade that pops out the outer side of the hand, between the middle little finger and the wrist. The blade has cutting power enough to go through most materials and its deceptively short range can be extended into a pseudo sword beam if the knife is swung vigorously.
      • Missile launcher: 004's lower legs have been converted into reinforced cylinders to house and launch missiles, mortars and other kinds of ordinance.
  • Equipment:
    • 00-Cyborg uniform: The iconic military uniform, gives a degree of protection to its user, both from the weather and minor dangers like fire, friction, common blades, and small firearms, while allowing for a large range of movement. Plus it makes you look really cool.
    • Super-gun: an energy based versatile side arm with several modes(beam, energy bullet, stun beam/bullet, heat ray and freezing ray) and dart launching capabilities(tranquillizer dart, and trackers)

With the understanding that there will be limits to the cutting power of the Electroknife, you are accepted

[up]Understood, I mean the knife isn't magic, it can clash(not outright cut through) with other comparable blades and so far I've only seen it cut through metals and stone at the hardest.
