While you could visit this thread if you want to suggest an image for an imageless page, it seems that a comment is saying "start thread", so opened.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportCant read the text in OP.
Berrenta- Thanks.
If anyone else can't read the original text, the image is from the Bloom County revival.
Besides the small text, OP is rather clunky. I think it could lose the middle panel and still get the point across.
That said, I would prefer to avoid literal janitors, although I don't have alternate suggestions.
I can just about read the text, and I agree it doesn't really need the middle panel. It seems to illustrate the trope well enough so failing the suggestion of a better image, it gets my vote.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMHere's a version with the middle panel removed.
I'm good with that take.
Sure.
Check out my fanfiction!Works for me.
(Annoyed grunt)I think that's an overly literal interpretation of the trope.
Spiral out, keep going.Literal would imply the janitor had god-like powers which he doesn't. He seems to have unrestricted access to the emergency heli. Not too far out for what the trope is aiming for
Point taken. Tentative
Spiral out, keep going.8 from me. It gets the point across and it's clear enough.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DM8.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"eroock's is good enough to me.

I missed the part where that's my problem.Good enough; 8's up and tagged. Caption?
Side note: The trope description contains a reference to one of the site's original admins...there's a blast from the past.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI like it too, but I'm just gonna throw in my suggestion as well:
"Just don't spill on the seats."
I dunno, it feels like a very janitor thing to say. XD
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Either of those work for me.
Unless there's a Scrubs quote that would be amazing here, I think 20's quote will work.
20's added and tagged. Locking up.
Here's a possibility for Almighty Janitor from the Bloom County revival
