Opened.
Noooo. I'd recommend staying away from mammals since as I've commented on the TRS most of them look far too similar to humans.
Something from Shark Tale will do better, but maybe an example with nicer visuals.
Are we moving mammal examples to Petting-Zoo People? When did we get consensus for that? Do you now think the tropes are separate? Otherwise, I like 1.1.
I personally wish the TRS thread had decided to merge the tropes, but oh well, that's not up to (only) me.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!they're the most common though, but I guess we can have stuff like Gex◊ or Rango
I think he just means mammals tend to be easy to mistaken for Petting-Zoo People, but for confusion I bring up Sliding Scale of Anthropomorphism for reference
micky mouse works too, quintessential example

Mickey Mouse would work, but I think we could also consider a panel from Endtown.

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI like all of the suggestions.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Oswald works too.
We should have a crowner soon?
So what's the consensus?
Lemme throw out some examples from Cerebus the Aardvark: 1◊, 2◊, 3◊ (right side)
Yeah he also works too.
so no crowner?
14 doesn't have any options in it.
I've hooked a crowner.
Votes bump; two in the green, one in consensus range...hardly any votes on this one.
Casted my vote too.

No consensus on a caption; locking up.

Nominations for replacement images:
So as per the trope repair shop regarding Petting-Zoo People (which has been locked, see here), there have been complaints that the Funny Animal image poorly addresses, well, being a Funny Animal, that its image lend to the confusion of the two tropes to begin with. I do agree, it looks less like a cat dressed up and more like a short, pudgy cat-man from the angle being presented. You'd think we'd have more examples due to how common this is in Western Animation of all places.
I vote Armello cast, but there can be examples from its ImageLinks too.
