I don’t think any of those are an improvement on the current, but something that shows Harley being villainous would be preferable.
All suggestions are worse than the current.
Check out my fanfiction!4
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty4 is too similar to Monster Clown and the idea is that the Harlequin has the scaryness downplayed.
I don't see a need for replacement though.
Tried looking for Harley pics that have her look a bit more villainous, with mixed results. The second one is fanart.
Clock is set.

Get an error message.
(Annoyed grunt)Seems good.
(Annoyed grunt)9's got potential. Anyone else, or should we just crowner what we've got?
Meh, I'm more keen on 7-1 or just keeping the original image. To me, the weapon does enough to imply villainy.
Edit: But I also think the current caption is unnecessary and should be removed.

Here's a crowner. Didn't add 4, as it was shot down.
I like 9, his smirk at the bag of money implies villainy but it's offset by being a duck.
Hooked.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportVotes bump; two in the green.
How does that offset it?
I think driving home the point that it's not named after the character is a plus. Not all our readers will have necessarily heard of the term "harlequin."
Giving this one more bump as the two in the green are one vote apart ATM.
I've yet to see anyone address the point I made in post 18.
"Let's hope he invests that money on orthodontics"?
That gets my vote.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DNo consensus on a caption; locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
This image doesn't really suggest that the character is comical in any way. Maybe the gun could be considered comically oversized, but aside from that, this looks like straight-up Sexy Jester.
Suggestions: [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊
Also, on a side note, people seem to be confused about what to add here. The laconic and description state "Evil clown who is less scary and more comical", but based on some of the examples, some people seem to think it's simply "evil jester".
