I think the one on Neo-Africa is better than the other two.
As I understand, it's a Setting Trope? Then I think 1.1 would be the better choice.
Spiral out, keep going.1.1.
(Annoyed grunt)I think 1.1 is more about sci-fi in Africa than sci-fi with themes of African cultures, if that distinction makes sense.
Check out my fanfiction! It's not so much a setting trope as it is an aesthetic one, I think.
Could the Black Panther cast (1, may need cropping◊ 2◊) work?

I really like the first one of those.
I also think it is an aesthetic trope, afrofuturistic stories aren't always in Africa.

The first is good provided it looks good at wiki size.
I'm more of a fan of the Monae one, but I'm cool with 1. And yeah, its definitely an aesthetic/cultural trope, not a setting one.
Yeah, I had a hard time coming up with good crops for the first Black Panther cast image; there's always someone's foot or arm sticking in the shot.
Alternatively, the character posters that just came out? Something like this◊, although I think it's more or less lateral to the Monae one with much less color.
i really like 1.3, the colors are cool. i vote for that one
1.1 is my second choice over the black panther pics

6.1 does fit the aesthetic , not really getting "futuristic" from 6.2.
Spiral out, keep going.6.1 or 1.1 seem to be the best. I'd like to see 6.1 at wiki size before "finalizing" my vote (so to speak). Tentatively voting in favor of 1.1.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty6.1 cropped and at wiki size.
Clock is set.
I guess 6.1 could work.
(Annoyed grunt)Officially voting 14.
The clock's up and we've got enough consensus to go with the Black Panther pic, so it's swapped in and tagged. Locking up.

New trope!
Here are some suggestions:
If the Neo-Africa page dies, (see the TRS thread for discussion) we can take that picture.
Here's also one of Janelle MonĂ¡e and some picture I found on Google.
