Well... here goes. First time I do this, sorry in advance.

So we have been working on this setting, Coreline for some time now. Several stories have been posted and, because of men like Mike 313 and Orion Pax 09, they are of a pretty good quality.

However, I believe that we should have a place where we can discuss ideas for stories withjin this setting, or be able to post drafts of stories for betaing and/or discussion (like trying to prevent people from stepping on each other's toes because one idea clashes with another or one idea was badly phrased and nobody noticed until it became Armed with Canon fodder and it ends up going From Bad to Worse with a "Take That!" Tit-for-Tat circle that just shouldn't have existed... it's a long story).

So... well... here we go. Feel free to discuss, fellas.

Well, to begin with... Will this be continued? It's the first thing I ever saw of Core Line, and I really liked it.

In the end, it'll be Mike 313's call, but it's a pretty cool story, so let us label it on the "pretty sure but can't say it is for real for the sake of suspense" side of "maybe".

OK, for the sake of adding more stuff... here's a WIP story. Dunno where to go here for the moment:

[NO IDEA OF TITLE]

—Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Rain. Lots of rain. Stinging, hair-wide, cold, windy, and most importantly merciless.

It had been raining for two whole days now, courtesy of a tropical storm building up on the Caribbean. All projections and predictions had deemed it minor and let it be, especially because there was just so much major weather modification that could be done before it backfired badly, causing more storms down the line or transferring them to more vulnerable spots.

This crazy world had a penchant for worst-case scenarios.

The humidity that had seeped into the ground had been enough. Landslides were happening everywhere, and roads had collapsed. Flash floods, the result of blocked-off or insufficient drains, had washed away entire streets.

This country was the size of West Virginia. This kind of damage would surely cripple it.

Which made their assignment that much more complicated.

It was supposed to be a cross-training exercise. Break in some rookies, create a higher understanding of how other groups worked, cement alliances with Central American factions, kick crook ass, eco-tourism for time off.

This crazy world allowed milk runs to happen—that's why people still knew the concept.

(This is as far as I've gotten for now).

(((()))

For the most part, well, yeah, this country has been screwed over pretty bad with a couple of the tropical storms that formed this year (especially Nate), so it's pretty much a "Take That!" to the storm season.

Overall, a focus on disaster relief, and afterwards... dunno... maybe heroes preventing a benefit concert from being attacked? Or a food drive? And how could that go? Mad Max rip-off, or something more standard for superheroes?

OK.... so This Wiki is kind of a bible on the post-Vanishing world.

The question then is... how much would this be enforced? In terms of, there's Trope-troopers running around raising hell or something?

... I don't think I'm getting what you're talking about there.

Sorry. Lack of sleep.

Just thinking whether or not to add a TV Tropes cult to this setting.

Because All Hail the Great God Mickey! is part of all post-apocalyptic media. Although I dont know if Tropers would be a viable choice for that.

Well, adding an update. I posted a completed fic, co-written with Orion Pax 09.

I can see how that might seem weird to someone who is not familiar with the setting, but it is not outside the realm of possibility for Coreline.

Yeah, definitely.

Hey, dudes, on a pretty severe writer's block right now. Need help.

Though you did include a link in the OP.

What is it that you are working on that you need help with?

Currently, well, there's a Miraculous Ladybug-related story I'm working on for this setting. Would showcase how Paris is on this setting and kind of a "ok, what the hell is this?" approach to Ladybug and the villains.

The problem is I am very unused to the series and could use help with that part.
