This trope is already YMMV-only to begin with so why do we still allow examples in the first place?

However, the main point is that if you do a thorough read yeah a some of them are pretty universally reviled examples of this trope, but most of them are still pretty popular shows that just happen to have dark themes like Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty.

Honestly, this trope comes across as the inversion of True Art Is Angsty since most of the people who contributed it seem like the kind of people who don't like dark themes no matter what the measure they're trying to get across is.

So yeah this should probably be one of those "No Examples Please" pages OR at least allow in-universe examples only such as: "A reviewer disliked a film due to its overly cynical themes and unlikable characters"

But that's just my stance, what do you guys think?

Possibly better to run a cleanup topic in Short Term projects, instead of a TRS considering the current TRS backlog.
