Same sentiments. He's playing video games on the couch, but the dialogue implies that he's unemployed but trying to get a job. It works in lieu of anything else imo.

By that definition any example that ever claims they're trying to get a job are excluded, and should be purged. Which shouldn't be done, so I don't think that objection holds.

The suggestion does not give enough context that it is a lie. Also it still looks more on the Hikikomori side even if you get the lie.
