Fire Emblem Warriors Spoilers Thread (Beware of unmarked spoilers!)

Since Fire Emblem Warriors apparently leaked early, this thread is for people who want to discuss the leaks without accidentally spoiling anyone on the general thread.

To move few things here: Early stream, Japanese site trying to gather the info about the game.

The Japanese site mentions both Oboro and Iago.

It also mentions Gharnef.

Did Anti-Mage write this script, by having the three past villains be Sorcerers?

Owain and Niles are in the game.

Real talk: I like Niles and Oboro and all, but prioritizing them over Azura is dumb.

I can dig Owain and, because Oboro was on my wishlist, I'm digging that too!

Still don't like KT's hypocrisy though. Hidden Fates and Awakening character (but no Azura HURR DURR) on top of DLC that lasts until Spring 2018? LOL!

Any news about Navarre?

Niles being in the game makes sense. I mean, they got Takehito Koyasu right there voicing characters like Validar and Navarre, so I'm not too surprised we got another character he voiced.

That's if they are playable and not just bosses or NPCs.

Can anyone confirm the Iago rumor about him being an enemy?

This page says that they are one of mission objectives. More info needed, though.

So Iago is in the game, BTW any screens of Gharnef?

Heads up, looks like Niles has the same moveset as the generic enemies of his class, so he's probably not playable.

Yeah, but a clone of the cannon fodder mooks? It's possible, but seems unlikely.

Snipers are officers in FE Warriors.

Officers having shared movesets is very common in Warriors game.

Even in Hyrule Warriors, Poe and Wizzro share moves.

I sort of have a WMG is that you can replace your generic officers with some of these characters. I also remember some people saying that in Samurai Warriors, some of the characters would have generic movesets until they were expanded upon.

The Sniper officers probably already share moves with the playable bow users like enemy Great Knights are the same moves as Fredrick and such.

By the way, has anyone seen Armored General Officers yet? If so, any links?

That is also true that unplayable characters have the moveset expanded when Promoted to Playable.

Personally I was thinking initially every character would use a class moveset and they could do this to allow Loads And Loads Of Characters.

Generic officers or even basic Mooks are also playable in some warriors games.

I have the feeling Ike is going to be the Groose of this game. The character that the developers clearly know is missing but "Never had a good opportunity to add."

I thought they left Groose out because he's like a reverse Tingle, in that Japan hates him despite the Western love he gets.

I got really tired of the Character Shilling Ike received in Heroes, so I'd totally be okay with that.

What, a single line in a single chapter?

It was more than one.

The point was that it was super blatant.

I thought that it was common consensus in the fandom that Ike was the strongest way before that, though.
