I guess it sounds interesting, but man, is FFVII such an influential and important game that its remake actually requires three whole games? I don't think I have the attention span, time, or money to play three whole games just to get the story of one, even if there is Adaptation Expansion. Maybe I would understand if I was in the FF fandom.

it really depends. i'm a sucker for romance, so if a dating sim suits my taste or is charming in some way, i'll definitely like it. in truth though idk if i know any dating sims i don't like

One reason I stuck to PC as my primary gaming platform is because old games still work, even if I have to download fanmade patches and fiddle around the game files.
That said, I'm thinking of buying a used PS4 to play Bloodborne and a slew of PS3 exclusives that currently doesn't emulate well.
