This looks like a game I would have made if I were 12 and I mean that in the best way possible.
Childlike imagination can give a whole lot of ideas.
But yeah, this looks interesting. I hope it's good.
Right. On paper, this sounds like a kickass idea, but ideas are one thing.
The execution of said idea is a whole other thing and that's what we should pay attention to.
(Having said that, if the execution turns out to be solid as well, then this game will just be another reason for me to get a PS4...)

Trailer is now out.
This guy needs to take better care of his weapons XD Gun that misfires, sword that shorts out after one strike...
So.... Shifu the origin story?
Looks fun. I wonder if they are intentionally drawing comparisons with Fable when they mention it in their adds.
I'd like to see some gameplay - that was a lovely trailer but doesn't tell us too much.
"SON OF A BITTTTTTCCCCCCCHHHHH"-Definitely our protagonist cut off by the trailer ending.
Bomb on one side and monsters on the other, I'd probably have that reaction too.
Nice trailer.
Though it looks like we'll have to change this thread's title so it's BioMutant with a capital "M."
This game is already weirdly nostalgic. It stars a non-human protagonist (I can't remember many games outside Elder Scrolls, Guild Wars 2 or Sonic that didn't at least give the weirder playable characters unsettling human facial features). The title and art direction make me think a bit of an old Psygonisis game boxart come to life.

And now the gameplay sizzle video is embedded here for convenience:
Thank you. I wrestled like hell with the markup and could not get it to display properly.
Gameplay and combat certainly look interesting. And was that a GIANT WORM! at the end?
"I sure hope nothing sinks our city" -Possibly some city-dweller in Biomutant
I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure. The game industry needs more unique new I Ps, and this looks to be just that.
Welp, I'm sold. Definitely looks like my kind of game.
/crawls back under rockSome gameplay and dev walkthrough.
Hm, the animations definitely need work, but I like the visuals and the combat looks like it's shaping up nicely.
So is that narrator going to be in that game constantly?
Oh thank goodness.
Another gameplay video, minus commentary:

Thank every god that they've already said you can turn off that narrator. The rest of the game looks like it'll be good with some polish, but the first thing I'm doing when I start up the game is turning him off.
Well, you can lower the frequency of his comments (and according to the article, he'll automatically adjust himself based on several gameplay factors, such as time and location), but since he's part of the narrative (and is a character in the game), you can't silence him entirely. Honestly the article kind of skirts around whether or not you can stop his combat commentary completely or just lower it to where he's not exclaiming something every four seconds during fights.
I'm fine with him talking in conversations and cutscenes and occasionally in combat, as long as he's not narrating every single thing I do.
Leaked in German video game magazine, according to Kotaku.
Not much to go on other than:
Apparently we'll hear more at Gamescom.
Thoughts?
