Ok I am sorry I misspelled the trope and neglected to check the link. Now I have the correct one.
The name of this trope isn't clear, with most people using it to mean All-Loving Hero for some who loves everybody in the emotional sense, or Really Gets Around for some who "loves" everybody in the physical sense. Maybe something like Platonic Love Backpedal might work better.
