What I got so far:
- Shovel Knight as a gift
- LISA for myself
- Whatever Valve games I had yet to own, and that included CSGO.
Still in question whether to get:
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown + DLC
- CSGO to play with other of my friends
- Hyper Light Drifter
- Furi
- Black Mesa
- or wait till Dark Souls: Prepare to Die gets discounted
Praise Gaben, it's that time of the year again!
Firaxis' XCOM reboot is damn good, but the sequel has mods. Hyper Light Drifter is fucking excellent, get it. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die is a complete piece of shit. Worst port I ever played. Don't get burned like I did.

yeyGetting the original Sup Com and its expansion, along with Hollow Knight myself. I've made up my mind to only get stuff from my wishlist that's on sale, since I'm currently semi-unemployed.

The Neptunia games are like $3, everyone should at least get Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart A Final Fantasy Tactics style game made by Sting.
How is Wasteland 2? It is 10$.
I'm purchasing Everspace for certain, it's the rest of the games that I'm sure if I can afford. Fallout 4 would be the first choice, but the necessity of purchasing the DLC mean's it essentially costs more than $14.99. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada would be another choice... but I've heard that the singleplayer aspect is lackluster, and you need to purchase the additional races, meaning the same thing as with Fallout 4.
Super Hot would be my last choice if the rest don't work out.
There's only two extra races in BFG:A; the Tau and the Space Marines.
Is battlefleet gothic worth it in single player? Still undecided. The only reason I am considering it is years of playing it on the tabletop, and I loved SINS and Starcraft. Any lines of thought from a player that are not apparent from the previews and reviews?
@Gault: The port is shit, but it still plays well if you get DS Fix and a controller. It's also the only Souils game that allows for modding, letting you add in functions that let you kick hackers at will and connect to any fellow player on Steam. Despite its flaws, Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is a fantastic game and I wholly recommend it, especially since you can get it for, like, five bucks when it's on sale. Five bucks for one of the best games ever made. It's totally worth it.
Also, there's a yearly event where the entire Dark Souls community makes a new character on the anniversary of the initial Dark Souls release (October 4, specifically) so everyone can experience the game the way it was like the day it came out. It's a great experience, and I'm making characters specifically so I can help out newbs and returning veterans alike once that happens.

Meanwhile, I'm totally getting Dark Souls III, but I'm gonna wait until the end of the sale in case the discount increases.
but HOW?Dark Souls I not being on sale at all this summer seems like big surprise. I think I got it for like $5 during the last winter sale. And it's great, and I wouldn't fault anyone for getting it a full price, but still.
A big discount this sale does have is Shadows of Mordor for $4, so I was thinking of giving that a whirl.
Hollow Knight has gotten a lot of praise, and being around $10 probably means it's going to sell like hotcakes.
And I would definitely recommend Furi (the DLC isn't really necessary, but good if you want more), and Black Mesa (grab On a Rail Uncut off the workshop if you do). Hyper Light Drifter is also decent.
Got the ARMA III DLC bundle 2, Final Fantasy VIII and Murdered: Soul Suspect so far.
P.S. this is the ultimate Steam Sale Song.

I got Deathstate, Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, Isuka, Overture and Xrd: Sign(I already have AC+R).
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyIt's alright. I will say it doesn't play at all like Starcraft or Sins Of a Solar Empire. Or most RTS really. It's a mix of slow pace and split second micro management.
I got the DLC for Arkham Knight. And I've also got plans to buy the Borderlands Pre Sequel DLC as well as the latest two expansion packs for Age of Empires 2.
It's going to be a very DLC filled Summer Sale for me.
I might also pick up one of the Final Fantasy's I don't already have though.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobOh yeah, I forgot about the mods in DS. Some say that you can overhaul O&S's fight into a basketball court reminiscing Dunkstein and Slammough.
Oh yeah, honestly. Looking at Black Mesa's gameplay and soundtrack, I honestly fell in absolute love with it, seeing it as one of, if not the most impressive "remake" of an old game from the past.
Welp, nvm. Decided to get CSGO, Hyper and Black Mesa. Worth
@Battleflett Gothic. Get. It. Its magnificent as hell. But do take caution. Just like Space Hulk: Deathwing, you need a ass-ton of specs to get it working. Otherwise, your PC will burn.

This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.. ∩(·ω·)∩ WAIT, is this supposed to be the mistress herself?Should I get Nier Automata now or wait to see if it'll drop further?
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI say go for it. It's rare that a discount is readjusted partway through the sale, anyways.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need! You could hang on until the Christmas sale. It's bound to be cheaper then.
Not planning on getting anything this year. Have a ton on my plate. I did buy the Darkest Dungeon expansion a few days before, I'll be mildly annoyed if it's like 10% off or something already.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I think you can get a refund of the difference if the sale is within two weeks of your purchase.
Man, right now I'm torn on whether to get Pathfinder Adventures and the Atelier Sophie/Nights of Azure combo pack now or later...and whether I should get Death Road to Canada now or not.
Also, kinda screw up and bought Valkyrie Drive just 1 day before the sale starts...the price didn't change, but I did miss out on a card tho. And refund and rebuy isn't an option since I used the 25% off coupon to help bring the price down further and refunding that won't give me the coupon back...
So far I bought DarkMaus, Clustertruck, Senran Kagura Bon Appetit, Hyper Light Drifter, Dead Cells, Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force, Xenonauts, Voidspire Tactics.

Give me cute or give me...something?I'm considering grabbing Hollow Knight, yeah. I'm liking Dead Cells but I'm getting the creeping feeling that roguelike generation and permadeath are covering up less content than I thought at first.
It's still fun, of course, but eventually I'll need something that actually progresses.
It's been fun. There's not that much that interests me this year. Probably a combination of having most of the awesome stuff already, having a huge backlog I need to play though, and just not being into gaming much at the moment. Spark the Electric Jester might be all I pick up.
Today's the start of the Steam Summer Sale! It'll be held from today until July 5th.
This year's gimmick is the stickerbook - every day, you get three quests (browse your discovery queue/check friends' activity/review store preferences), each of which unlocks a sticker piece to be applied in your account's stickerbook.
Some highlights:
And quite a few more in the store.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!
