For a fictional example, here's a House Targaryen family tree◊ from A Song of Ice And Fire. We can crop at the top right (Aegon I and his sisters) or at the bottom right (Shaera & Jahaerys —> Aerys & Rhaella —> Daenerys et al). (Artist deviantArt page).

Well, I have always thought of Charles II of Spain as a good poster boy for this trope, though without a family tree, it will likely end up JAFAAC.
