I always wanted to the Archer team to make a Deadpool cartoon. But the Atlanat team is came outta nowhere and took it over :P

Does anyone think this could be that upcoming X-Men animated show that was rumored a while back?

There was a rumoured X-men show?

A month or so back Bleedingcool.com reported that the situation between Marvel and Fox was thawing slightly, and that Marvel was beginning work on a new X-Men cartoon after a few years of the Fantastic Four and X-Men being mia in Marvel's animated productions.

Donald Glover is creating an animated Deadpool series? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY (or ratings)!

I have faith that this will be an awesome series.

Ok since Deadpool is my most favorite superhero I am so excited for this shit.

Hopefully it has great action.

I was worried for a second that it'd be on Disney XD. They make decent superhero shows, but Deadpool is not for kids.

I hope they get a good voice actor for Deadpool.

Wonder if we will get some more Marvel guest spots in this or if the content rating will result in them being Exiled from Continuity.

Cable, Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Domino would be nice.

I'd imagine this show will good handful of Marvel characters.

@Miscellaneous Soup: I would assume they'd get Nolan North, seeing as he's been Deadpool's go-to VA since Hulk Vs. Wolverine.

Do y'all think it will be mostly serious or would it be primarily a comedy? Not really well-versed in Deadpool.

Ideally it should be a mix of black comedy and action.

I wonder if it will follow the plot of the comic book or if it's going to do its own thing.

This is the first time a mature themed superhero cartoon has been on a mainstream network since Spawn!

It's going to be a comedy. FXX was a spinoff of the main FX channel created to mostly focus on comedic content like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Archer (as opposed to the main FX, which has serious shows like The Americans, Fargo, and Legion).
