Tim stares at a small flame in his hand as he speaks to Beatrice and Pricilla
I am an Enchanter. There are some who call me... Tim. I sense an item of great importance deep within. I shall follow in your quest.

Beatrice though she heard something, so she looked over to the two boys [Jojo and Caboose] for a brief second, the top of her teeth just touching her lip and her eyes wide open.
What are they planning?
Beatrice then returned to the conversation before her, before turning to face the enchanter.
"Then you are welcome in our pact of alliance. Now as for the task before us, which of these passageways shall we enter? I myself am partial to the door of lightning and gold, as it is in my nature to be drawn to such golden things."
Edit: To teammates: Also, what are your preferences for turn order and such?

Lightning? But... but I'm a dragon! And I can't take any shock, literally.
"That is rather unfortunate."
Though it was rather interesting information.
Wait, he never introduced himself, did he?
"By the way, my name is Joseph Joestar, or JoJo for short! Who are you two?"
Joseph points to Caboose and Party, expecting responses.

Well if my other teammates are ok with it, I'd like to be the first one to use the RNG.
The League of HeroesWell, I know that no one is going near that door with the weird crossbones on it. Though I want to see what's behind it! Marisa turned to face the door with the crossbone. I bet it'll lead to our deaths, though.
-
Right then, I'm fine with you using the RNG first, as you started up this game, Gamechanger.

"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"Using a RNG, I rolled a 3. I like battling and level grinding so I was hoping for a 4, but oh well. Probably a good thing since it would of been an anticlimactic battle since the last game I played that had a first boss was Pokemon Sun. Note to self: replay Thousand-Year Door for this game.
Bowser: Let's see what's behind the green door!
Bowser opens the door and obtains a gold amulet an emerald gem embedded in that that's cut in the shape of a plant symbol.
Since the green door was chosen our team name directly or indirectly must have something to do with either the color green and/or plant life.
Renumbered the remaining choices for the next team:
- 1) The Yellow Door with a Lightning Symbol
- 2) The Blue Door with a Water Symbol
- 3) The Black Door with the Skull and Crossbones
- 4) The Red Door with a Flame Symbol

The League of HeroesI'm Caboose. There's some words before that, but I am Caboose.
"Ooh, a grass gem! Shame I don't have any grass type moves...
(Team emerald, maybe?)
“How long has it been? 23 days?”For clarification, you can use any RNG you can find for this game. I'm using the Google Search one.
By the way, the effects of the amulets stack, so if you have four of the same elemental amulet you are immune to attacks of that element. So if you want your entire party to be immune to particular element, you have to collect 12 amulets.
As for the name of my team, I'm thinking an Alliterative Name should do the trick. How about Life Legends or Legends of Life?

The League of HeroesEven though I'm not on that team, could we get a better description of what the layout in that room is like, along with whatever other significant features might be in it? Considering this is supposed to be a maze, I assume there is some sort of means forward when someone gets in that room. The description is kinda barebones right now.
Also, after proceeding into a chamber, what determines the number of sides on the dice that we roll when we have to proceed to another area or do another thing, since you've implied that each of us is doing our own rolls?
"So we cannot choose these doors by our own will."
This really is some sort of hell.
"Do either of you two wish to open the next path or must I be the one to take the initiative?"

Alrighty, just rolled, and I got a two!
Marisa ultimately decides to enter the blue, water-themed door. What could be in here?
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"You can't choose another entrance since it's one entrance per team.
There is no dice, you just input the number of possibilities in a generator and let the generator select a number at random for you.
We were teleported to the entrance room by a spell made by there maze itself and thus you can't go back the way you came since it was a one-way trip. The room is bare with a few benches here and there, with the only exits being the entrances to the maze itself. The room is only just big enough so that it doesn't feel claustrophobic. The room does have some starting money for the randomized shops you may find in the maze as well as some food rations so that you won't get too hungry wandering through the maze. The amount of starting money each team has is 10 gold coins.
I want to put in a secret 11th tower in which you don't have to find it in order to beat the game, but the tower has the best armor and weapons in the game. I have yet to come up with a good way to put it in the game since the method of getting to it is supposed to be harder than getting to the regular towers, so it won't be used this game.

The League of Heroes"It's like a little town in here!"
“How long has it been? 23 days?”I'd pick the blue one, it looks safe.
FYI, the five entrances don't lead to the same room, so once we enter the maze your team will be separated from the other teams.
For the fun of it, you can map out the paths you took in the maze if it helps. The maze itself is arranged in grid pattern.
For each step of the way there will be a monster fight, with the except of a few select paths. If you get a dead end, you still have to fight the monster.
You have to use the RNG twice when it's you turn: One to determine the maze path, and one to determine what monster you fight.
If you get an intersection, decide among yourselves which path to take.
If you backtrack, you don't have to roll for the maze paths since they already been revealed.
Now it's time to talk about monsters and the leveling system. The monsters for the first ten intersections (passing through the same intersection more than once doesn't count) are at Level 1 to Level 5, with the random encounter bosses at Level 10.
Everything experience-gain related is exponential, but I'm not sure what exponential equation to use since I want everyone to be comfortable with it. I'm considering using one of the Pokemon experience gain systems, but the level cap (if there is one since I'm unsure about that) will be higher than level 100.

The League of HeroesI also agree with going for the blue door.
In my medical opinion the HEAVY IS DEAD!Clarification, are we choosing the doors we go through or is our selection random?
"So blue it is, eh? Alright."
-Beatrice waits for Priscilla and Tim.-
"So are either of you two going to open it?"
@Mhazard & @TheSilverShroud: So, what are your preferences for turn order? We should probably get that out of the way as soon as possible.
edited 26th Apr '17 2:28:38 PM by CathariSarad
Your selection is random, as you need to use the RNG to determine your choice.
Here are the remaining choices since the Green Door is already used:
- 1) The Yellow Door with a Lightning Symbol
- 2) The Blue Door with a Water Symbol
- 3) The Black Door with the Skull and Crossbones
- 4) The Red Door with a Flame Symbol

The League of HeroesGot 4!
"I say we go through... The red door."
Joseph points at the door in question.
Long live the New Bev.Updating the remaining choices for the next team:
- 1) The Yellow Door with a Lightning Symbol
- 2) The Blue Door with a Water Symbol
- 3) The Black Door with the Skull and Crossbones
I'm Priscilla. As you can see, I'm a dragon, literally. Nice to meet you.
