As if that justifies it? Please stop.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. That hardly justifies it.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? And this relates to the topic how? Back on course pls.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Anyways.
Her newer videos have been much better, I agree. More analytical than her older ones. Her and Kyle from Brows Held High have both improved a lot since leaving Channel Awesome.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yeah, I feel him and Lindsay do a lot better when they are allowed to take the subjects seriously.
From what I know, the general Internet Review culture has simply changed a lot. Back then, the AVGN/Nostalgia Critic style was at its peak. Now some people are interested in something a bit more...well, sophisticated or "real." That's one reason I like Doug's videos where he just drops all persona and talks candidly about what he thought of the movies he's reviewed.
I'd be interested in seeing something like that from Lindsay..
Just looked at her Loose Canon playlist. Surprised she failed to mention one of the more iconic superhero rivalries, Daredevil and Punisher. These two have fought tons of times for obvious reasons. Or maybe I've just been thinking too much about politics in comics lately and Matt/Frank are perfect examples of that.
Did she ever make a review for Batman vs. Superman? I'm gonna guess she didn't like it. (I did though)

Yeah I suppose the attitude really has changed, I'm glad because I didn't find the old style that enjoyable or funny.
Nostalgia Chick reviews felt like they were just discount Nostalgia Critic reviews, complete with unfunny comic relief thrown in.
I'm so glad she's found her own style, because her videos are very enjoyable and thought-provoking.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI don't think I've seen much actual film theory, critical analysis style discussion on youtube.
The fact that this one is about Transformers is just. Okay. Yeah. Good.

Aw, I was kind of hoping that she'd be discussing the franchise as a whole.
Oh well, this still looks interesting.
Oh God! Natural light!Apparently just the movies are enough, since she's going with every lens.
But I'm sure she would have interesting things to say about the cartoons as well, also the comics.

Huh. Well that was an interesting look at auteur theory. Never really thought that much about it until now.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Ah, so she'll be putting these out pretty quickly, then.
This pleases me.
Edit: Or perhaps not so quickly.
Ah well.

Oh God! Natural light!I'm surprised I haven't subscribed to Lindsey until just the other day. Both her and Kyle are probably the best analytical You Tube reviewers right now.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Twelve!?!?
There is a lot of theories to go over and I think 4 movies.
Wait, is this the series she and Dan Olson threatened to do years ago? Because if so, I think I'm in on this. I'm not a huge fan of hers—her delivery is kind of excessively glib and sometimes she oversimplifies or misrepresents things in weird ways (Socrates never wrote anything, my dude)—but Folding Ideas has long been one of my favourite web series and when Lindsay picks a solid target she can be remarkably on point. So I'll be checking this out.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question (I only ever watched one of these films)... but what's the context behind the "I ate the whole plate!" clip she kept using? Every other instance of immature humour seems self-explanatory, except for that one.
Didn't know anything about Dan Olson having involvement, though I do know him and Lindsey are pretty close.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? It's a bit from the first Transformers movie. On Twitter, she's brought up how many bizarre lines there are in the Transformers movies but no one ever seems to notice them. The prime example, to me at least, is the bit in the fourth one where the...government agents maybe show up at Mark Wahlberg's farm. He asks if they have a warrant and the agent guy whips off his glasses and growls "Mah face is mah warrant!" And it's really unclear if it was supposed to be a joke or what, because the characters take it completely seriously.
And yeah, apparently this has been in the works for literal years.

Not Three Laws compliant. He talks about it here.
Just a person. He/him.I've been forced to watch all of these movies by my little brother for years now, I remember these lines. The fourth movie also had this really weird exchange when Kelsey Grammer is talking to Lockdown:
Grammer: You know, we have an old saying down here that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Lockdown: I also have an old saying: I don't care.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? So, it's just a nonsensical line? It's given focus in the scene, and it looks like a metaphor or like it's being played for drama, but it's actually not relevant to anything?
That does sound Michael Bay-ish.

It was more the both genders. There being porn of something doesn't make it ok and more means your contributing to the same stuff.
So I liked all the Loose Canon videos.
