Any of those are good...I think I lean toward the third because the phone is the most clear in that one.
Here's a crop from the House of Cards (US) example at wiki size, much less warm and similar to the image already on the page but still human and clearly both a phone and texting, not a videochat
Liam Neeson◊ isn't killing anyone in this image *ding*

Gotta go with 1.3
Got a chuckle out of the second one.
I'm gonna go with 1.3. I think it's the clearest example so far.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"1.3
Twitter/Instagram: anzasquiddles. Deviantart: anzahanifathallah.1.3.
(Annoyed grunt)One or two more votes for 1.3 and we can go with it; the rest can go to Image Links.
3.1:
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
3.1's not bad, but in my opinion, it's too dark to work well (which was also my first reaction to the current image). 1.3 works much better because it's easier to see.
Crowner's hooked.
Votes bump; two in the green.
^^ I prefer the darker version, it looks like it's late.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Time to call this one. The new pic's up and tagged, and I'll put the old pic on the other suggestions on the Image Links page. Caption?
No caption discussion; locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Looking at the image I think it gets the point across well enough, I just had the thought we might want a bit more of a human element. And perhaps something more upbeat looking.
I saw a few instances in The Shallows that might work. I think the third is the one I like best.
