Only difference is how they are cropped, which is not enough to differentiate them. Opening.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThe first thing that comes to mind is a print collection of a webcomic, so here's some shots of volumes of Gunnerkrigg Court: vol. 1◊, vol. 2◊. vol. 4◊
That falls on the same problem said by the OP: those pics don't tell that comic was originally online. I think a two-panel pic comparing online media and its printed version would work best.

This◊ [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊ for Doorstopper then?
It is a real life 10,119 page book on poetry. Its the world thickest single volume book ever bound. Although I can not find the actual name of the book.
Caption could be "Volume 1 of 'Understanding women'" with what it actually is in a note. heheh

Clock is set.
Web First is an index in addition to being JAFAAC, so I think we should pull it regardless of replacement.

I've got an idea for the GC suggestion but don't have time ATM to put it together...I'll try to remember to do it tonight.
Re-clocked. I never got around to making the combo pic I was thinking about, so if someone wants to take a crack at it, go for it. Alternately, I'd be fine with replacing the pic on Doorstopper with and moving the uncropped Wikipedia book pic to Web First.
W Ikipedia is way more pop-cult than Gunnerkrigg Court, so I would stick with that pic for the sake of recognition.
I don't know if this really fits trope, but it's not hard to find One-Punch Man examples like this◊ that show how certain moments are shown during the progression from webcomic to manga to anime.

@Memers - The long poetry book is by Dr. Alphabet, for iowa City: http://blog.lib.uiowa.edu/preservation/2011/01/07/10000-page-book-bound-at-conservation-lab/

The new clock's way past due. I've pulled the pic from Web First and tagged the page; locking up.
Old pic:
It's almost exactly the same as the one on Doorstopper. I don't know which one should go, though. On one hand, Web First is technically JAFAAC if you don't recognize Wikipedia, but on the other, it's probably easier to find a different picture for Doorstopper.
