I was checking out the Esoteric Happy Ending page and noticed some of the endings presented are just Bittersweet Endings, not "happy" endings that failed to be happy. The page for Genma Wars has Bittersweet Ending on their main page when it's the same basic content as the Esoteric Happy Ending, and the Fight Club post has 'this ending is bittersweet but some people see it as happy' which is the opposite of the trope.
