A 1997 American crime-comedy directed by Marco Brambilla that has a young woman (Alicia Silverstone), neglected by her father (Jack Thompson), faking her kidnapping to get his attention, only for her to get kidnapped for real.

The movie also stars Benicio del Toro, Christopher Walken, Nicholas Turturro, Harry Connick Jr., Leland Orser, and Sally Kirkland.

It was released on August 29, 1997.
