Suggestion: Team Rocket Wins

Okay, so I'm just gonna be honest and say that I believe the image for this trope page doesn't really convey the trope a whole lot. My personal opinion on how it shows the trope aside, it's also been there a really long time and maybe picking another, which actually shows a Harmless Villain winning, wouldn't hurt. Or one that describes the trope better.

This one is a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I think something amongt these lines would work.

You will need to give the link of the pic instead of trying to hotlink the image. Until you do, I'll withhold my judgement.

I'm guessing this◊ is supposed to be the image in question? If so, can't say I like it much.

If is the OP's suggestion, then that's a solid from me. The current's in solid Keep Until Better Image Suggested territory for me.

Looks like that image is JAFAAC.

Jessie's reaction alone shows this trope. "Wait, did we seriously just beat the twerp for the first time in the 20 years this show has been going?"

Okay, finally got to see the suggestion. Going to go for Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Besides, Jessie provides the page quote, so an image of that moment is a bit too much.

That page quote was added only a few days ago, since the episode literally only aired less than a full week ago from this post.

If the trope is about harmless villains winning, I have yet to see an image that makes this point clear. Blank pending other suggestions.

^ Going to agree with this. If anything, the current just shows a Now What? scenario. The villain looks pretty imposing, not clownish.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"

For a crowner, should we go with the image DRCEQ suggested, leave it BUPKIS, or do nothing?

If a crowner's hooked, the clock should be extended.

If a crowner does get added, the clock will go away entirely.

Reclocking to give some more time for discussion (and possible crowner options). I'm starting to think that 6 could work, minus the second panel and moving the page quote to the caption.

^ For somebody unfamiliar with the characters' alignment (like me), this looks like three random screenshots with a caption.

It's perfectly obvious to me; the transition between the three scenes makes it clear that Jessie is reacting to the Pokemon being knocked out and is looking back in surprise, and James is giving affirmation. I'd lose her name from the caption, the dialogue is sufficient.

I kinda feel like the 2nd picture (with the star sparkles) kind of acts like a Beat panel, you know what I mean?

I don't mind the 3 panel version though.
