Okay if there is any chance in any universe that I am not the only one who has played that old awful PS1 fighting game BoomBots, he looks like a character from that.

He has the name of Helix in localization.

Helix is the source of the Fighters that aren't Mechanica, Master Mummy was just a ruse. The ARMS fighters are Artificial Humans

There is something profoundly unsettling about Helix. Actually, let me rephrase that: everything about Helix is profoundly unsettling. From his face to his arms to his movements to his voice to his apparent origin, Helix freaks me the fuck out. I love it. This trailer also confirmed that the Dragon Head Arms, and by extension all Arms, are available to all characters, so that's neat. Helix, though... *shudders*

Well this guy's freakin' weird. And yet he's probably going to be the character I play as the most if I get this game.

The first thing I thought of was, hi, Zac!

Yeah, aesthetics aside (and he is quite unique even within this world), his gameplay style seems to be all about using his own body as a tool for evasion.

His design looks like if an X chromosome turned its upper half into arms.

I've also seen a bunch of people comparing him to Flubber already.

Green Mr. Fantastic seems like the kind of character that will be near universally disliked for his design and appearance, but will be used by a few skilled players and that will annoy people a lot.

Blocking the Jojo Rush would still make you take heavy chip damage with any character, but this guy just fucking dances around it and socks you in the face afterwards.

And then he bawks like a chicken.

I'd say he's a joke character, but his moveset is no joke.

I like him. A blob monster makes almost too much sense for a game about stretchy arms, and his design is pretty neat to boot. He might be a tad overpowered though.

Also, people are already making jokes about him being the reincarnation of Lord Helix.

I just like the sheer Fridge Horror aspect he brings to the game's backstory.

DNA theme aside, Helix looks more like Muk than Deoxys
