I have been watching a lot of comedy cartoons these days. One of the things that usually upset me is that they are often comedies, rarely action or drama cartoons. To be honest, I'm not complaining just showing my views. Their comedy often uses stupidity or cruelty like [1], Family Guy and Johnny Test.

How about we deconstruct it way to show its horrible effects if they existed in real life, here is one of my examples

Butt-Monkey

  • Deconstruction: Jill is often bullied by her friends for comedy in the show. In real life, she would snap under pressure and violently kill her 'friends' for being such idiots and jerkasses

[up]That's not a deconstruction at all.

Then what is it, what would be a deconstruction of a Butt-Monkey really be like?

Do you want to see what a Deconstruction of Comedy would be really like? It's mostly aimed at cartoon comedies in which relies on stupidity and cruelty.

So basically, if you take a comedy trope a d make it realistic them is a deconstruction. Not exactly, you got the well versed in the genre but not the analysis part. Also, and this is a very unpopular, I was never a big fan drama. I'm fine with in small doses but that's it. I prefer shows to be in the middle of light hearted and serious. Moreovef, I hate to a bit of a hitch but, most kids are into the melodramatic deal I see in love actions but that doesn't mean that they can't handle dark themes.
