This one's at a week but I'm gonna give it a few more days since JCS was added so late. The leader is out of consensus range as it is.
Maybe the thread title should be adjusted? I'm a bit skeptical that JCS is going to atract a lot of votes when most people have already voted in the crowner. It's definitely the best thing on offer, though.

Yeah, I don't get it either... It's a bit hard for the ending to be spoiled if it's a Foregone Conclusion, and in this case almost all Western viewers (who were presumably the main target audience for the musical) would know it beforehand.
Agreed. I don't think "Jesus dies" is a spoiler for anyone.

^^^ Yes, I think so. It's better than the Free Willy example because it doesn't require one to know the work, it doesn't spoil a major work for casual readers, and it's funny.

As an alternative option, how about the cover
◊ for the hardcover edition of Final Crisis? Arguably Batman is such a well-known character that most people would realise revealing his death on the cover is a spoiler, but it still doesn't spoil the whole conclusion of the comic, since on the final pages we find out Batman didn't die but was sent to Stone Age, everyone just thought he died.

Well, we don't seem to have consensus on anything, so unless someone finds something quick that we can agree on, this thread will have been a huge waste of time.
I have no idea why marketing for The Mist thought that putting this stupid thing
on its collectors edition was a good idea, when it had already this non-spoiler one. Caption:
