Not bad...the skin tone looks nice.
I'm in the process of trying to get my DI sets assembled. I've ordered a spray booth off eBay, now all I really need is a desk and some supplies for cleaning and I can finally get to airbrushing.
Thanks.
I'm currently working on repairing and touching up the models I am going to be using at the Warhammer World 40K Grand Tournament next weekend so I don't have the time to work on anything new unfortunately. This is something I am finding quite difficult as I dislike working on one project for so long.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellI liked the color scheme.
Also sorry for not responding earlier, but thanks for the comments :D getting modelling supplies and minis is quite hard when you don't have any store where you live, but I hope I can get some more stuff soon, so I can put some more detail on the Smurfs and start new models. I've also been thinking of going T'au or Saim-Hann next...
... And that's called jazz!Thanks
Saim-Hann would be my suggestion but what Sept were you thinking of for the T'au?
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellI was thinking of the Farsight Enclaves, but I wanted to go for the "inverted Vior'la Sept tone" and use Mephiston Red instead of Khorne Red for the base (which I think is too dark). Do you think it's gonna get too bright?
... And that's called jazz!Well, these are two bloodletters◊ painted with the exact same paint scheme (the GW Bloodhtirster tutorial), except the left one is Khorne Red as the base, whereas the right is Mephiston Red.
So yes. Mephiston Red will lead to a far brighter finish, depending on how you do it.

Double post, but:
Now I'm working on my 10 Bloodletters, Herald of Khorne, Skulltaker and Chaos Spawn
Nice work!
Thanks!
I realized I fucked up on the horns/claws/spike-things on the Bloodletters and Spawn, so I switched to just using black for them, as you can see on Skulltaker and the Herald. Unfortunately, I'm starting to run low on the P3 Thamar Black, which suuuuuuucks because its so good :/

Awesome work indeed.
... And that's called jazz!Khârn looks very good. I love the bloody base.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellThanks! I thought "well he IS called Khârn the bloody, why not make him very gore-splattered?"
I also learned the magic of using wood glue for making thick, opaque fluids for basing.
.... Though I think I MAY need to do a quick shade of Carrobug Crimson/Nuln Oil to give the blood on the base some depth
Here is the army I am taking to the first Heat of the Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament at Warhammer World this weekend. It is a little underpowered and I am fully expecting to get my arse kicked but it should be fun nonetheless.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellAwesome! Idk if it's too late already, but good luck!
Also, I've restocked my supplies and will go Tau this time. :p
... And that's called jazz!Badass! I'm looking forward to finding out how you do.
& Thanks. I have posted my first day results in the 40K thread.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellI have been meaning to post this for a while and as it is still Orctober I thought I would do so today, so here are the two throwers from my Orc Blood Bowl Team, Gork's Fangz.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellNice! Did you add a wash to the plates as well?
... And that's called jazz!Thanks.
I did the plates by using an Agrax Earthshade wash over a White Undercoat. I then layered some Screaming Skull on rather roughly and edged it with White Scar.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellThose throwers are boss.
Thanks
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellHere is one of my latest models a Snakebite Clan Boy. I tried giving the weapons a more rustic look that I think worked out quite well but I am not completely happy with the brown clan colours I used for the clothes.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it WellI think it looks good, it looks like he's in patchwork leather.
Thanks I had been worried the browns would be too bland.
Knowledge is Power, Guard it Well
Necromunda is being released soon so here is an old (and a little blurred I am afraid) House Goliath Juve that I painted a while ago.
