Finally Jedah is in a trailer.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sounds like they got Michael T. Weiss back as Dormammu, which I'm pretty happy with (here's a link to his trailer from the previous game for comparison). Firebrand's voice sounds cartoonish as hell, at least compared to his voice in the previous game (again, link to trailer for comparison).
Also, on the character page, someone put Jedah's voice actor as David Kaye. I don't know if that's him for sure, but if it is, would it count as an Actor Allusion, considering this wouldn't be his first time voicing a Darkstalker?
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Call me crazy, but I'm a little glad Nemesis is back. He's, in my opinion, an excellent choice to represent RE in general, and I feel Marvel 3 didn't do him justice. I'm happy to have Ghost Rider back for similar reasons.
Oh, and Jedah looks cool.
EDIT: OOOOOOH I think I just realised what Soul Stone is. Notice how in the trailer you can see Jedah and Dormammu jumping and moving around together and performing moves in tandem, something that the standard tag system shouldn't allow you to do?
I think the Soul Stone not only revives your teammate, but also allows you to control them both at the same time ala Marvel 1.

"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiThat can't be it; it clearly says it's powers are life steal and Ally revival. Controlling 2 peeps fits under neither.

Some gameplay footage of all four characters, courtesy of IGN.
Awww, no more POWEROFTHE-POWEROFTHE-POWEROFTHECREATOR
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!I've no problem with Nemesis. Like I said, he's easily one of the most iconic characters in the whole series. There's a lot of choices here that make no sense other than laziness (Spencer), but Nemesis is a fitting mascot for the franchise.

I wonder if Jedah leaves you on the scroll if he wins the round with the move like in OG Darkstalkers. Does Akuma keep his pose after a SGS in Marvel 3?
Ghost Rider and Dormammu sound terrible.
Check out the gameplay here, its shown more clearly.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiWhy in the world would Damnd get a statue in Metro City or New York
Is it me or does Dormammu have the same voice as Jedah?
I couldn't tell when he was talking. Just constant deep voices.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He's an Avenger now.
I noticed Iron Fist is on a promotional fight billboard in the background of the New York/Metro City stage. I can't make out who his opponent is though.

The Soul Infinity Storm is a bit like a neutered version of the Hyper Crossover or whatever it was called in Marvel 1. If you were at full meter and your partner was still alive, you could control both characters and briefly had infinite meter.
This is that, sans the infinite meter bit.
I think it's Iron Fist vs Ken
Someone joked that with Black Panther and the Monster Hunter gal, story mode will end up as a guessing game for which other NPCs will end up as DLC.
Maybe we'll get playable Dr. Light.

Will Dr. Light do the Hadouken?
Uni catThe gameplay looks fine at least, can't say the same for everything else however. And to be honest I prefer Mv C 3's comicbook style. It was a nice ascetic.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!Alright looking good. I'm still not feeling Jedah's purple blood, but I think it gets the point across to people that have never seen him before. Glad they kept two of his more memorable super moves too.
I'm not sure how much Firebrand has changed, moveset-wise (to be honest, I didn't play UMVC 3 nearly as much as I did vanilla MVC 3), but he still looks like fun to me. His voice sounds... worse somehow, despite his speech consisting of various cackles and screeches.
Do we know if the Soul Stone allows full revival, or does it only last as long as the Stone's active?
It's full revival, but the risk of forcing the revived partner into constant play for so long means you need to be on top of things to make sure they stay alive after.
Max's breakdown video dedicated to Jedah.
- Jedah is an odd choice for a Darkstalkers character, but his inclusion is still welcome due to being a very crazy and "out there" newcomer in a "by the numbers" roster of mostly returning veterans.
- Despite the art style, which Max has criticized as trying to be cartoonish and "anime" while also trying to be realistic, Jedah animates really well.
- He has three supers, one of which (the one where he charges forward like a pinwheel) can only be done in the air. His Level 3, where a giant hand grabs his opponent slams them into a "blood contract", also changes the visuals depending on the opponent.
- One criticism Max has is the Bowdlerization of Jedah's blood, which was red in the original Darkstalkers games, and has been turned purple. He notes that he's looking forward to the PC version of the game, due to the potential mods allowing, among many other things, Jedah getting his red blood back.
He's trying to claim that the Soul Gem is the best one, but the opportunities you can create with Mind and Space seem a lot stronger to me. Infinite meter and the ultimate lockdown are dreams come true for some characters, and the Soul Gem's storm seems really situational and far too risky to pull off without wasting it, since your partner is forced into play for ages.
Why is he complaining about the artstyle? Honestly one of the reasons the models look so bad for this game is because of the realistic look they're trying to go for. I prefer the comicbook and colorful artstyle of the previous games.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!Very minor nitpick since I do think Jedah is one of the best things about this game: I think the Blood Contract super makes a little bit less sense due to the blood constructs being censored. But other than that, great to see it in 3D.

Gameplay Trailer 5, featuring Ghost Rider, Firebrand, Dormammu, Jedah, and the Soul Stone (which steals the opponent's life and can revive your fallen teammate).
