I think the current image is fine. That's pretty clearly two ordinary kids who want to be superheroes, IMO.
It helps that the trope name describes what the trope is pretty clearly, so we can get away with an image that's not precisely on the nose.
How sweet it is
Problem is that there could be a number of reasons why they're wearing those costumes. They could be getting ready for Halloween, for example.

Or they could be doing some Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny as a lot of kids love to do.
"Could be" is a mug's game. The important question is, how are people likely to interpret it, sitting under the page title that it is?

The clock is up. I've done the upgrade on Only the Chosen May Wield; locking for lack on consensus on this page.
It's just a picture of two kids dressed as Spider-Man and Batman. The caption doesn't do a great job at explaining either and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out how the trope is illustrated.
