The fact I wrote off what powers Miles had so quickly proves I need to work on my precognition. XD
Watching the ep right now.
Pete revealed his identity to Miles. I guess I didn't expect them to go very long with him not telling the other who he was, so I'm glad that's out of the way.
One Strip! One Strip! So, new episode that I'm very sure was supposed to be aired later was pretty okay.
I kinda feel like the episode didn't really need the Hulk, which I think is one of my problems with these kinds of crossover episodes.
Was a little surprised to actually see Bruce Banner in a Marvel cartoon again, though (I know he appeared in Avengers Assemble at some point, but that's it).
The more I hear the more it feels like Marvel's Spider-Man is the point where Marvel is FINALLY starting to listen to the complains about its cartoons. Too much dumb humor while discarding actual character? They are making a more story-driven cartoon with downplayed humor. Unlikable Peter? They are giving us a Peter who we can actually like. Bruce Banner is missing? An episode where he actually plays a role. They still have a way to go, but it's overall a step in the right direction.
Banner did appear in episodes of Agents of Smash and Avengers Assembled though didn't he?
Though admittedly, those were limited appearances. Still he showed up pretty quickly here, and was around for quite a few scenes. I guess they did get the point.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, I think I'm over Norman being the main villain and being behind nearly every episode, even the ones where it's unnecessary. It reminds me too much of how Kingpin was handled in the 90's series. The show needs more rival factions or unrelated Big Bads to keep stuff interesting. Yeah, there's Jackal and Hammerhead, but they're nowhere as focused on and developed like Norman.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Hopefully the Smythe/Jackal faction will pick up the pace, so we can have something similar to Spectacular where there are multiple factions that cause all of the supervillains and drama.
Banner making an appearance was nice, and very apt for this show's whole science vibe. I loved the point Gwen made about Banner being incredibly smart, but Hulk not knowing how to help.
WMG: The real Raymond Warren is in prison and the one outside is either a clone who became evil and framed Raymond for the crimes or Chameleon who has some sort of agenda.
DynoThere's a German preview clip of "Screwball Live!", which won't come out until next week. Apparently, Liz Allan is Screwball.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm wondering if Iron Man will show up in this weekend's episode, or if Blizzard will be part of Spidey's Rogues this time around.
Hey an episode of Spiderman where Harry wasn’t angry aboutSpidermans presence.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Well that's a way to make Liz Allan a hero without violating copyright
I think they're having Iron Man rogues show up without involving Iron Man. Crimson Dynamo, for example, is a villain in the Doc Ock two-parter, and Tony isn't there. Absorbing Man is also in the Screwball episode, but the episode is not a Thor crossover.
Or they don't have to make every supporting character into a superpowered/costumed one. Should we expect the Golden Oldie next?

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Huh. Strange.
Probably by the time of the final episodes, both Horizon and Osborn would have formed the Web Warriors and the Sinister Six.
Web Warriors would comprised of: Spider-Man Kid Arachnid Spider Gwen Spider Woman
Sinister Six: Vulture Shocker Dr Octopus Man Wolf Ultimate Spider Slayer Jack O'Lantern
Wildcards: Raymond Warren Impostor
DynoWell that would subvert the whole 'back to basics' thing.
Then again, the comics are sometimes guilty of this
You know, I distinctly remember someone posting a review of this show based on the first five mini-episodes and calling it "the worst Spider-Man show ever" (before you ask, yes, he did say he never saw Ultimate Spider-Man), on the basis it was, according to him, generic and did nothing new with the Spider-Man mythos.
I guess that proves you can never judge a show on his pilote...
There aren't any copyright issues with making Liz Firestar, like she was in the Ultimate comics, at least not in television. They're just continuing to embargo the idea themselves.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Someone left the background music on in this episode. It very nearly drowns put the dialogue.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! My sister was disappointed when Peter disapproved of Harry's flame sword.
I think Blizzard is going to be a Spider Man villain this time around, given the origin here.
Okay, so, I think they'll give Gwen Stacy the Spider-Woman name, or perhaps Spider-Girl if they ever would want to introduce Jessica Drew somewhere in the future, for one simple reason.
Araña.
You see, I imagine Anya not being the creative type, so, she just decides, hey, the Spanish word for spider is araña, her name is Anya, so, let's just go with that.
Signatures are for lamers.I also kind of went "what" when I found out Peter and Harry created a gauntlet that can apparently create ice without freon, but their life changing application for it boils down to... Refridgerating food.
I think there are some great (non-hero or villain) applications for something like this tech, and that's how imaginative they are with it. XD
Oh yeah, that kinda bothered me as well, like, why use a gauntlet to refrigerate food stuff? Isn't that just a waste of resources? Like, the gauntlet literally creates ice out of, well, possibly water vapors lingering in the air or something. I don't exactly know the practical applications for such technology, but cooling your sandwiches sure ain't one of them.
Signatures are for lamers. So has there ever been more than one Blizzard?
Cause this dude was named Randy Maclan instead of Donald Gill.
Also, I'm near positive the Green Goblin had a flaming sword at one point. Harry's getting closer and closer. It almost makes me think that he really will be the first Goblin this time, even though we've done this dance twice before.
One Strip! One Strip!
Oh yeah. That's another power he has.
I'm really wondering what Gwen and Anya will be able to do. I don't know what powers Comics Anya had compared to Peter, but as far as I know, Spider Gwen was pretty much exactly like main series Pete in terms of ability.
