So we know how awesome Titmouse is, right?

Well, earlier this year, after doing cartoons and animated segments for years, they brainstormed, recruited a cast led by Paul Rudd and Patton Oswalt and set off to make their first animated movie, which premiered at SXSW. They called it Nerdland.

Did I mention it was rated R?

And now in recent news, as in "yesterday" recent, Indie film distributor Samuel Goldwyn Films just scored the theatrical license and are prepping to give it a wide release this December.

Ugh, that animation style. Something more like Metalocalypse or Megas would've done much better.

[up] I'll assume you're not much of a fan of Motorcity's style either cause the art reminds me of that (or Gorillaz).

I like how it looks. I really wanna see it pretty much based on that alone.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

I saw it and liked it. I can understand why some people wouldn't like it as it was definitely not for everyone, but it felt like the closest thing to an Adult Swim movie I had seen since Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theatres and had a lot of clever satire and surprisingly decent animation alongside a good handful of great voice cameos.
