That reminds me....I do wonder how far Shido's research has gone. Not so far that we get another Sho, but I'd think his group would have some weapons of some sort lying about, or at least alternate ways to enter the metaverse outside of Goro.

Like, Goro got several squads of police to get the phantom thieves, Im pretty sure they didnt all hold hands together to get inside...

It's possible that, if Futaba is his daughter, Shido simply doesn't know and/or care.

Is it not possible for Sojiro to be Futaba's biological father? I don't own the game myself but I've watched let's plays though I'm not sure if that's ever ruled out.

I think it is, but I want to check to see if Sojiro adopted Futaba or not.

There's no concrete evidence but there's nothing denying it either. No one knows Futaba's dad & her mother knew Shido who already has one known bastard in Goro.

Hell Goro & Futaba even have the same rare blood-type. So Futaba could be Shido's bastard daughter.

Sojiro never had that kind of relationship with Futaba's mom. He himself states this when asked upon & he has no reason to lie especially considering he himself is a player & is the type to brag a little.

I checked the character sheet and Futaba's bio does have a Happily Adopted wick. With I'd say its possible that Futaba's birth father are a different person entirely

Yeah there's no possibility of it. If Sojiro were Futaba's biological father, it would take a lot (if not all) of the heart out of their relationship development.

Shido on the other hand... not really sure how I feel about it. The most I can say is that there's no real proof against it.

Plus they'd bring that up in the actual story if that was a thing.

I can't really debunk this one, but it seems like a wild leap of logic. But eh, I imagine most people aren't approaching this as a serious theory.

I'm not sure, but I think Sojiro implies/states that Wakaba wasn't interested in him that way, so no, he is most likely not Futaba's father. Once again, he only says that Wakaba got pregnant one day and he didn't know from whom.

Actually Nevermind, Futaba did meet her father. He's the one who told her her mom must have had a maternity neurosis

Huh? Even Wikia has no info on her father, I mean completely unknown.

I thought that was her uncle.

Couldn't be; the first thing he says is "I should have never had Futaba".

As for when, he is the voice from the first mural and reappears during her Awakening.

Dude that's her uncle who had custody of her before Sojiro came in.

He was an abusive dick who treated Futaba like shit & is a demanding asshole considering he tries to take away Sojiro's hard-earned money with the lamest excuses.

He is talking about inside Futaba's dungeon, you hear either her Imagine Spot of her dad or a memory of him.

Hmmh maybe that could just be her guilt creating a voice in place of her unknown father.

A lot of people were talking shit about her in those murals.

Meanwhile in another universe

I thought that was more of the fake suicide note being read aloud.

I find the attraction to the "older" women funny in this game because a lot of players are either in that age bracket or older themselves.

So I have a question.

Does the Courtroom door in the middle of Sae's dungeon have any reason to exist?

I suppose it's to keep up with the story reasons for those damn barriers in the first place.

The writers needed it in Madarame's dungeon as an excuse to get Yusuke in the dungeon.

From that point on, in order to keep up the illusion of this little rule, they had to include it in Futaba's and Sae's dungeons.

Doesn't serve any real purpose other than to drag out the number of days you need to clear her dungeon.

But it doesn't make any sense given the "rule".

For Madarame and Futaba, their doors were doors that nobody else went through, so that's why it was a cognition that existed in the first place. But for Sae, her door was a courtroom door, which Akechi explained as being there because she didn't see the Thieves as mature enough, or something or other. So they get past it by...going into the courtroom. Which is then explained by Akechi that the courtroom is open to the public. Meaning literally anyone can go in there.

Meaning there shouldn't be a door in Sae's Palace barring people from entry because everyone can enter it! Talk about your contrived plot-thread.
