Duplicate Image: Robot Clown

I just realized that the picture I chose for this page a while ago, which is of Clown Man from Mega Man 8, is the same picture used on Clown Man's entry in the series' Characters page. Is that allowed?

If we need to change the image, here are some suggestions:

• Another one of Clown Man: [1] (I think we'd want just the top left)
• What's New, Scooby-Doo?: [2] (My only problem with this one is that the robot is Obviously Evil, which gives off the impression that all Robot Clowns are evil, which isn't true.)

I don't believe there's any big fuss about duplicating a pic on a character page. If you want to swap out the one on the character page for the first suggestion, that's fine. As for the others for this page, I think this one◊ is especially interesting.

I think the picture on the Characters page is his official artwork, so I think we should leave it there. But maybe my first suggestion could be used for the trope page.

I love 1.3 too, but I can't figure out where it came from!

So, if we decide to, we could just go ahead and use this image? Are there any copyright rules when it comes to choosing page images?

And of course, are there any other suggestions?

And what about my current avatar, Chuckles? (Since I change my avatar a lot, here's the picture◊.) Does he look robotic and clowny enough?

I'm also trying to find some good pictures from Five Nights at Freddy's. Sister Location, with its whole cast of robot clowns, would make a good image source, but right now there's nothing but teaser images.

Can't possibly have this topic without mentioning the Jester Gundam.

Most of them work, but I guess I'll go with the Clown Man alternate.

Now that I look at that one again, the quality isn't that great, and it would be even worse if we cropped it.

Fun fact: The old caption is a Mythology Gag for the trope's original name, Robo Bozo.

I don't think the old caption works, since he sort of is a "dodo." At least, none of the other characters seem to like him.

In that case, what about "This robo bozo is kind of a dodo."

Pretty much. He only has the one scene, where he shows up, tells some lame jokes that draw either uncomfortable chuckles or outright hostility (from Bender, natch), and leaves.
