"I do not know," Gark replied to Thames. "I was a passenger aboard the ship. This machine will know more of the details, it belongs to the ship."

He placed a rough hand on MK-4's 'shoulder' and growled at it, implying that it might want to start answering the Captain's questions.

MK-4 looked around and played a whistle noise before turning to Gark, "Observational: If you have Allies. Call them here, Thames may have something for us soon enough."

MK-4 looked at Thames and said, "Blunt: I was on the lower decks directing cargo and passengers, the Konam has made several routes and this planet has notorious Spice producers. I wouldn't know exactly if my captain did or not. Uncaring: Doesn't matter now, he's dead."

Thames rolled his eyes "And how do I know you aren't lying? You're a droid built for smugglers after all," "Blunt: You don't. Pointedly: But we need help now. Curious: What can you do?"

Thames smiled a bit at that, before breaking out into uproarious laughter and looking over the docks. "I AM the shipyards ya bucket of bolts! Get a crew and a setup and we can get you moving! But do ya want to? Rest of the Galaxy ain't entirely safe anymore with the first order running around making problems for people."

"Don't tell me what to do, scrapheap," Gark said to MK-4.

Then casually turning to face away, he discreetly activated his commlink. "You might want to get over here. I don't know why, but it looks like the Captain of this place decided he wants to hire us."

Niklex was just wandering the shipyards, looking for anything interesting, but he paused when he heard someone mention Spice. He didn't touch the stuff himself but it sold well so a little could finance him for a while, especially since it had been a while since he'd actually managed to collect a bounty. This would all be easier with his own ship but that would require quite the payday. He figured out who was speaking - that droid from the ship had made its way over here too - and pulled his hood up over his horns before approaching the droid and the rest of the gathering crowd. As he went to speak, another set of teeth clicked into place in front of his first set.

"So... Is there work to be found here?"

Shipyards. Sorta.

Finding his way through crowds was simple enough, even with Felix keeping an occasional glance up at the sky to make sure he was heading in the right direction and, well, it never hurt to be cautious. As these numbers started to thin a little, things started to get a little of clearer...

Well...they're a varied looking bunch. Could be pirates, but...

Simply shrugging it off and walking out of the crowd towards the group, Felix gave a casual wave.

"For a pretty rough landing, looks like everyone involved out you lot is as hardy as a Dewback, considering you lot don't seem to be shaken up at all."

That did it, Aurora embraced the dark energies flowing throw her. While the dark side flowing everything became clearer. She could see and hear better and farther, even better her body felt lighter. which help as ran and shoved her way though the crowd.

"Your not leaving me with that fool!", she howled out as got near the pair.

John-John's ears had caught onto the conversation between MK-4, Thames, and Gark. Something about a job of some sort. John-John knew that if there was work then there was pay and the aquatic rogue could certainly go for a few extra credits in his pockets as he leaped and bound closer.

"Hello, friend. Missa couldn't help but overhear yousa inda need of a few extra hands." he spoke up with a confident tone.

As an aside to Auren, Gark spoke up. "I do not believe I suffered any injuries that require medical attention, but one of the other survivors may have."

Oh, here we go, Prima fought the urge to roll her eyes at Aurora and glare at Heda, whom Prima was relatively sure had done this deliberately.

"There are many things we can learn from him, Aurora. Patience, tolerance, self-control-" How not to deafen your conversational partners, she added mentally. "All useful skills. Maybe he could even help you with your saber form."

Thames looked at the Ragtag band that was slowly forming and raised a ridge.

"Defensive: Do not look at me! I didn't expect that to happen!" MK-4 was quick to say.

Thames rolled his eyes and looked straightforward at Gark, "So the last Freighter you were on went down right? Ya willing to work to get off this planet?"

"Well, welcome my young Padawans! I am Master 9-DOT and I serve the Jedi as you two will someday. Our training may have to be postponed for a few standard time units. There appears to be some kind of conflict occurring over there with those two Wookiee gentlebeings over there." 9-DOT told his new students, eager to get fresh new faces to hear his teachings. However, a Jedi's first duty was to stop conflict across the galaxy, no matter what form it took.

"Pardon me, is there a problem here?" 9-DOT clanked his way over to Gark and Captain Thames. "If there is, I would ask that the aggressor cease all disruptive attitudes or answer to the power of the Force" he said in the same monotonous, metallic tone as he always had.

Kiera slowly stepped her way over to the forming group, listening in even as she shadowed them. She had honestly missed most of their conversation, and couldn't even understand the two Wookies. Nevertheless, the big one carried himself with enough weight to appear to be the one in charge, and she if she intended to find work quickly, it'd be for the biggest player she could land.

Thusly, she found herself just behind the group, standing out just enough to hopefully grab Thames attention by herself. Unfortunately, the Jedi-droid had chosen that moment to step up to 'diffuse' whatever conflict had arisen between the Captain and the other Wookie. She frowned, and considered seriously, for a moment, about sending a blaster bolt the droids way.

...Well, alright, that wasn't the best of introductions. Although looking at them all, I guess they're all busy planning...something.

Stretching his arms and idly glancing at the new arrivals out of the corner of his eye and giving a casual wave, that droid speaking of using Force to stop...whatever disagreement was going on and assuming it was a different definition as he shrugged at 9-DOT.

"Not sure using force and violence is going to stop stubbornness. And, you know, it'll draw more attention to...well, them. Us. The people here."

Heda paused only to give Prima and Aurora smug if rather brief smirks before accompanying them forward. Luckily the droid's progress seemed to have thinned the crowd a little, making it easy for her to float her speedbike forward at a walking pace, to where two conspicuous Wookiees, assorted droids, the amphibian, and sundry other onlookers—including some in various types of armor—were stuck in a multiway conversation that seemed to be going nowhere fast.

Surely the addition of a few more clowns to the show was going to help.

"Why, Gark," she said quietly, easing up closer; on her bike she was nearly the same height as the Wookiee, if she stretched. "Pleased that you are well! I have been a good chaperone! As much as I know, Prima and Aurora did not set the building on fire, or collapse it, or by accident lightning'd everyone." Actually, for all she knew, the girls—and while Heda herself was only a few years older than they were, she couldn't help but think of them as girls in need of adult supervision, which she was completely unqualified to provide—had been perfectly well-behaved on their own. For most of the past few days she'd been off running errands and chasing down empty leads in hopes of a steady contract.

"I take it the job went poorly? And what is this about a ship?" she asked hopefully. "May we leave this world at last?"

Auren stares at Gark and then at the rest of the escape pod/crash survivors along with the motley gang suddenly gathering about. "No injuries after an event like that? Well you survivors are some lucky bastards let me tell you. I've seen more then my fair share of these events. And trust me the aftermath ain't half as pretty as this normally."

He grumbles a bit in annoyance about getting all prepped for on site medical treatment when no one actually needed it. Shaking his head he steps away from the eclectic group and just watches them for the time being.

Before Thames could answer, a pod landed in his shipyard. The elder Wookiee stared at it puzzled and sighed before taking another huff from his pipe, he was getting to old for this crap.

The pod hissed and opened before playing a hologram message. It was of a First Order Officer

"Attention people of Aten!" it began, echoing throughout the planet, having hijacked the broadcasting signals of the world no doubt.

"We have detected a high level of force users on the planet, submit them to our ship when it arrives and we will leave your world alone for the time being. Fail to do so and there will be Martial Law instituted with Inquisitors to hunt them down. Do not make us crush you under our heel."

The message was a warning, one that MK-4 played a groaning noise at, this was just perfect.

"Seems ya need that ship more than I thought," Thames mused, he turned to Heda and answered "Preform a few odd jobs around tha local area to pay off a debt, and I'll get ya all a proper freighter built to get you off this forsaken world. Especially with the First Order coming in now."

As the message played, Prima's blood ran cold. The First Order was on the hunt, looking for force sensitives. Looking for her. She shot a glance at her less than Jedi-like companion.

Looking for Aurora.

If the First Order found them, they would take them away, likely torture them until they broke or they died, whichever came first. Prima could handle it. She'd seen the Dark Side's true face, and knew it well enough to see the choice between it and death for what it was; the death of her physical body, or the death of her soul, her mind, and her heart. The death of Prima, as a person, and everything she held dear, everything she stood for. Only a fool would take the dark path, given those options. But Aurora...

Aurora already trod the dark path, even if she didn't go very far, comparatively. If the First Order got their hands on her, Prima had no doubts that she'd be broken to their service. They would take her, torture her, and snatch away any hope for redemption that Aurora had.

In an uncharacteristic display of emotion, Prima's jaw tightened. She was having, as her father might have said, exactly none of that kriff. The First Order could have Aurora, or for that matter, any other force sensitive on the planet, over her dead body.

"First Order"

Aurora froze. The words, First Order spun around her mind.

"First Order''

"They coming for me"

"First Order"

"I'm not their weapon"

"First Order"

"I'm Aurora. I'm not a Fir-"

"Am I really?"

All those thought spun around her mind. All she could was stare blank though her helmet visor. The power that ran though her body now was gone. The free if brief was about to be gone as well.

"First Order", Once again crossed her mind.

When the pod stopped talking, Niklex's rage got the better of him. He was plenty used to running from the First Order but he just wasn't having a good day and as such he turned, huffed, and started screaming at the pod.

"Usen'ye Mir'osik!"note

Of course the First Order was probably not listening and anyone nearby fluent in Mando'a could take offence but he didn't really care. He breathed deeply for a few moments and then turned to the assembled group and shrugged meekly. As Thames had addressed her, he turned to Heda.

"So...Er... If you're getting together the funds to get off-world, can I get in on that? You know, First Order are Karking Locanote . Got to stay away from that and we can't all afford ships."

"Calm down. There are various locales all over with various jobs. They owe me a few favors and we got plenty of crashed ships to work with. Hell even a few shops that could alter that Droid fer ya. Get working with them, and trade in a favor. Honestly I want those force users off this planet, First Order is bad for business, but I ain't a charity."

MK-4 spoke up, "Observational: There are various gangs and spice markets, no doubt with a few favors owed to the Docks Captain here. Optimistic: Perhaps a few odd jobs here and there would get us set to get a freighter built."

Thames nodded, "Finally you're good for something Droid. I'll get ya all a custom built Freighter if need be. All you have to do is work around the planet a little bit. Most of the work here is based on favors, you do a job for them, they do a job for you. Favor for favor. It's not perfect, but when you are low on credits."

Auren stared at the holographic message.

"I suppose it figures these assholes would end up in the ass end of the galaxy. Welp, I had a good run at the clinic, but I think it might be time to leave. I'm certain Aten will be sad to lose its best doctor. But screw it. I'm not staying around for those xenophobic assholes to show up."

He looks at the motley band that Captain Thames was addressing. "Assuming you guys want the services of the best bloody doctor in this entire system that is."

Auren wasn't entirely sure about pitching in his lot with these odd band of people, but anything was better then just waiting for the First Order to show up.

"I will accompany you folks and protect you against the evil of the First Order, as well as overseeing the instruction of my new Padawans." 9-DOT declared, activating his lightsaber and skinking to one knee to signify his solemn oath.

"By the Force and all those who use it for good, I swear that none of you will be taken alive or dead by the First Order as long as my servos whirr." 9-DOT swore, deactivating his lightsaber, not realizing that activating a lightsaber right in front of a First Order escape pod condeming Force users might not be the best idea.

Kiera stared at the First Order beacon in mute shock; she'd spent months evading them, moving ahead of their vanguards and scouts as best as she could. Yet, she'd only just arrived here, and the Order's shadow had already begun to slide over Aten.

'Damnit,' she thought to herself, sighing as she edged ever closer to the group. 'Don't have a choice in this...' Composing herself, she addressed the group — and thusly Captain Thames as well. "You all looking to get out of here, yes?" She paused momentarily as she glanced between them, then back to Thames. "You need a Merc, then you've got one. No Force powers, but..." she shrugged, then followed with, "...no love for the Order, either."
