Basically. I didn't want to spoil even with spoiler tag. It's her goodbye speech that was touching.

My short tweet thoughts on the game. TL, DR: Thought it was decent but story's not very risky or surprising, to even more of a degree than the previous Halo Wars.
Kinda disappointing to hear since I was interested in the game from Gideon Emery's dashingly handsome motion capture model dulcet tonesNo wait that still sounds-uhhh, no homo?

One lore side note I noticed regarding Spartan-II numbers; they finally fully confirmed in Alice's Phoenix Log that some of the S-II washouts were indeed rehabilitated and made into proper Spartans, with all three members of Red Team being among that number.

World Whosball Champion 1945-1991You've probably all seen this already, but for anyone else, here's the Vidoc for the new DLC leader that came out a bit ago:
I swear, for a moment I thought Kisano was using Blood Raven Space Marines due to her faction being colored red.
...Lock the Reliquary....
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! The early bird gets the worm, or in this case, a fuel rod to the face.
The Flood are going to be added come this Fall... looks like they weren't completely exterminated on the Ark.
Or maybe the Flood outbreak on the Spirit of Fire hinted in Halo: Escalation and then shown in the short story "Something Has Happened" wasn't truly eliminated. It'd really be unlike the Forerunners for their tech firing off Installation 04B in Halo 3 to be that sloppy.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Then again Alpha Halo 2.0 was still under construction when Chief fired it.
World Whosball Champion 1945-1991"Halo doesn't kill flood- it kills their food."
Gravemind's probably screwed anyways, as are the more advanced Flood forms, but the array wasn't designed to be able to kill Infection Forms, and since more sentient life showed up on the ring, if there were any of the little buggers that managed to last that long...
but HOW?Well the Halos just don't discriminate. They kill Flood perfectly fine, but they also kill anything else that might sustain them if they make a resurgence.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.That's not what Cortana said.
but HOW?If the Halos didn't kill Flood then they would have just overrun the galaxy after they were fired by the Didact.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Flood need to eat to survive. Once they run out of usable biomass, they wither away.
but HOW?Yeah, and the Halos also destroyed them.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Huh. That's a retcon I'm not aware of, which is odd, since I read Silentium. It does fit with the climax of Halo 3 a bit better, though.
but HOW?There was originally plans for a Promethean DLC◊ that would potentially tie HW 2 with the main storyline and the Created conflict, but it was seemingly dropped and redirected into the Awakening the Nightmare expansion instead.
Some have speculated this is evidence that 343 are once again making changes to their story plan in wake of criticism of Halo 5. Not unexpected.

A monument to all your sinsWhat, are they not doing the Created War anymore?
That would be stupid, to end that plotline after talking it up so much.

Serena terminated herself during the hibernation. And we get a shot of Forge's empty cryo pod.
