So we now have a dumb AI as part of the team.
Also holy shit Atriox went higher up on my "awesome bad guy" list. Seriously, a Brute manages to kick the asses of three Spartans!
Eh, maybe. Considering she has the capacity to be scared she may be smart.
More details. Looks like she is a "Smart" one.
World Whosball Champion 1945-1991Don't mind Cutter's redesign... I haven't been able to get a good look at Anders' since they seem to absolutely refuse to show her in anything but a blink and you miss it shot.
A Brute... who thinks?
What spore of madness is this! Next thing you'll know a Grunt will be the enemies Ace pilot!
Anders seems like she hasn't really changed, at least to me.
And yeah, Cutter definitely looks younger, but I like the look.
I mean, Halo 5 Firefight already has Grunts piloting mecha and acting like they're in a Super Robot anime (complete with attack call-outs).
Also, the grapevine from Comic-Con has rumors of playable Prometheans in multiplayer.
World Whosball Champion 1945-1991Honestly, I find there's something else that makes me alarmed by Atriox.
He caught Red team off-guard; he utterly curb-stomped them; he CRUSHED the armor of one of said Spartans. But what really unsettled me? When Red team made for the door, Atriox LET THEM. He demonstrated a chilling amount of self-restraint for a Jiralhanae and showed that they were completely at his mercy better than any amount of violent slaughter could have.
Considering what looks like the entire Banished army is outside waiting for them I'm not surprised, but it's also likely he wanted them to escape so that they would carry word back and show what they were dealing with. After all, you can't hear "Spartan casualty!" without thinking "Oh shit, what happened?"
SDCC Panel:
Two soundtrack pieces:
- Isabel's Awakening, Isabel's Leitmotif.
- Run Little Demons, Atriox's leitmotif.
New Canon Fodder. The crew of the Spirit of Fire have been salvaging new UNSC equipment on the Ark and upgrading their forces, which explains the new look of Red Team's armour. Also, Douglas is implied to survive his encounter with Atriox.
There is also footage of the third mission, Ascension, where the crew of the Spirit try to gain access to an elevator leading to the Ark's Cartographer by playing a campaign version of Domination:
- Wasn't the Ark infested with Flood when Chief and Arbiter left it?
- Didn't they attempt to destroy it by detonating the new "Installation 04" to prevent future rings from being made?
The Flood starved after the Halo killed the Gravemind and any sentient biomass in the area. The Ark itself got messed up pretty bad, but it was still intact enough for a couple investigation squads to visit it a while after the battle.
but HOW?To expand on that, there's even a book about a joint-UNSC-Elite expedition to the Ark set two years after Halo 3's ending.

World Whosball Champion 1945-1991I was actually thinking of including that in my post, because I actually got the book for Christmas! Haven't read it tho. I've started, but I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the author's writing style. Certainly seems like an interesting read, though. It's got Olympia Vale pre-augmentation, the two multiplayer-only Sangheili from Halo 3, references to that one ship from Primordium...
but HOW?I love commercials that have a comedic bent to them 'The ****ing Tie' Its like The game is a tv show and the commercials are them off camera
Are there any more of those clips online? Here's to hoping there are!
FULL TONGUE.
but HOW?Anyone watch the leaked cutscenes? Tear Jerker opening.
...is that all you have to say?
but HOW?
Let's kick things off with the new Vidoc (EDIT: Now has a work page: Halo Wars 2).
