It sounded like a simple Divide by Zero error. The actual biggest problem with those is finding it, not fixing it, as many times it's just a typo.

It's actually more of deleting something that has already been deleted.
Episode 2 already has tons of people crying Cerberus Syndrome, before I have even watched it—not spoiler for me since I watched the manga a long time ago.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThe elevator pitch is Cute Girls Doing Game Dev. Tons of fanservice, lots of yuri hinting, moderate amount of actual game dev.
It's been fun.Where's that comin' from?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.No credit for partial responses; certainly not what I was expecting from an expert. The full answer is that Nene's attempting to access something that's no longer in memory. Any operation will throw this error if an object is no longer in memory, not just deletions. Further to this, the fix is a simple guard to check if the object exists before attempting to access it.
Good effort, but C++ throws a unique error if a divide by zero operation occurs.

Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are. Now, I know that's not what we expected of our resident development expert (and in fact, is well below the standard of what I was expecting), but this isn't a programming course Having said that, you nailed the answer, it seems. Someone elsewhere explains it in a bit of detail, you'll have to do some digging to find it.
Anyways, this was a fun episode, and quite honestly, I don't really care if things get "serious", as there's a limit to how serious Kirara and their adaptations can be.

The only resource you need for tropes
To me it isn't even "serious" even by Kirara standards; Hidamari Sketch have some strongly emotional scenes.
What's the age rating for this game, though? I think Fairies Story is more early-teen rated, but I'm not sure about this new one.
BTW, Funimation seems to have "fixed" the title of the game developed in the first season to Fairy Stories.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra Nova...each game is a story about fairies. They've changed the title to the series as a whole being stories about a fairy. =.=
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Somebody posted this cap for a different question, but the thing I'm more interested is... judging from the books at the back, is Nene actually majoring in law?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThe game they made in S1 was akin to Ys by Falcom and this new game is Rhapsody A Musical Adventure by NIS.
The artist worked at one of these smaller video game companies, any idea which one?

Who posed the question, and what was the question? I will take two birds with one stone here and I can answer yours first: either she's doing law courses as an option (computer science majors don't just take technical courses, they have some required and open options too) or else is majoring ins something else and switches later.
Now, I'll wait for the original question.

The only resource you need for tropesWhat're the titles of those programming books in that picture (thus the arrow). Which is not an important issue; we all know she's learning programming.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaLooks pretty standard - basic terminology, a beginner's guide to C++, 'Basics of Programming', etc.
It's been fun.Seems like people are taking those little details way too seriously. They don't make or break the anime.
Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are.x4 Nene isn't a Computer Science major, that much we do know since she's just starting to learn programming despite her being in her second year by now. I don't think we have any confirmation regarding what she's majoring in though.
Setting the books aside, we do have some hints; Umiko noted that she was unusually good at finding bugs and her reports on them are very clear and understandable. Meaning that she's either extremely talented in that regard, or her field of study has given her a critical eye when examining things and also involves a lot of report-writing.

Give the God Eater game thread some love!In the end, it doesn't really matter what major she's in. What matters is what happens next to her.
The only resource you need for tropesI know what happens, but I'm not going to spoil it.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Man I am more interested in what Nene is doing than Aoba lol.
But that intro... Hifumi can work it.
edited 25th Jul '17 9:29:49 PM by Memers
That intro implies Hifumi buy clothes many and often. But why she looks like having a Limited Wardrobe at Eagle Jump?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaHifumi does a lot of cosplay and so on, doesn't she? It's not surprising that she's into fashion.
It's been fun.She rarely actually makes it to the counter... it's like an American Gladiators run in dodging sales clerks.
As a continuation of the discussion in 135-143: some people in 4chan thinks that since the animators uses Hitotsubashi University as a model for the college Nene's in, Kirara Woman's University is a Bland-named version of Hitotsubashi.
This is canonically absurd. Nene "doesn't actually know what she wants to do in life, and part of her reason for going to college is to figure it out." For that purpose, Hitotsubashi, which only has a business school and a law school, is patently ill-suited, and she would have been regretted that there's isn't a computer science faculty to ask since there isn't any.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaIt could still be used as a physical model, though there would have to be photo evidence of that, and as far as I know we've only seen Nene's dorm room so far.
It's been fun.
This episode (S2E03) has a bit of the campus, so the library◊ and the main auditorium◊, but that doesn't mean that it should be interpreted as "Nene studies in a bland-named Hitotsubashi."
I've caught up, and my statement stands: it's rose-coloured compared to reality. Now, scuttlebutt has it that you're a software and hardware expert. I'm a newbie when it comes to programming, and I'd like to hear your thoughts on what caused Nene's game to crash, as well as what one can do to fix it.
