Gaige (Outside Base)-Welcome to shooting 101

Gaige nodded and got in front of the group, raising an assault rifle that would appear to anyone looking to come out of thin air as she took it out of her SDU, the rifle for a moment being encased in a bunch of blue blocks before they vanished.

"Ok, everyone follow me, don't worry, I have a shield, I can take a couple of hits."

She started walking and talking.

"Now, for you people who don't know what guns are, time to get on the noob express. Like I said, these are basically bows and arrows made out of metal that can fire metal at like.....picture the speed that lightning strikes the ground, I wanna say, it's a little slower then that. The guns themselves can hold multiple bullets, the things it shoots, the exact number depends on the gun, but they have to stop every so often to reload and put more in, so if you see someone pulling a hunk of metal out of the bottom of the gun, they're vurnable, it usually takes a few seconds for them to reload, unless they're using a Tediore gun, which means they can just chuck the gun at you and it'll explode." Gaige paused a moment to think. "Wait, I don't think any of the major weapons manufactures I know were founded yet. Never mind, ignore that last part."

"Rule of thumb, if you see someone holding something pointing at you, take cover, that's rule one. Bigger, the better, a bullet can smash right through a wood fence, but it can't break through, say, concrete. Size matters too, a tiny one handed one probably won't be accurate at more then 100 feet or so, and that's if your lucky. bigger ones can shoot further, and pack more of a punch. If you see a round cylinder on top of a gun, that's a sight, think a tiny mini magnifying glass that lets them see over long distances you usually can't see over, watch out for those guys, because they can aim a lot better with them and hit a lot further away then you might think. "

"Now one thing to keep in mind is that a lot of these guys are gonna be generic grunts, which mean they have sucktakular aim. Because the guns fire bullets so fast, the kickback, called recoil, is bad. Anyone who's firing their full clip at you all at once is statistically more likely to hit everything but you because of how much their aim is bouncing. What that means for us is that we need to spread out. If we stand in a group, someone's going to get hit, and everyone is aiming at one place. If we spread out, they have to try to cover all the people, meaning less bullets per person, not to mention confusion as they try to keep track of us all. "

"Oh, and some of them might have this thing called grenades, it's like the size of a fist or so, it's basically a ball that can explode and hit anyone around it with pointy shards of metal that will basically shred anyone caught in it to pieces. If you see someone pulling something out of a small thing and then throwing it, that's a grenade. Best thing to do, dive as far away from it as you can and hit the floor. Most of the metal bit, shrapnel, goes up and around. You might get hit still if you're close, but you're a lot more likely to survive if you're on the ground. Now in my world, grenades can be modded to do a whole bunch of different things, steal health, split into smaller grenades, teleport across battlefields, but again, I don't think they invented that yet, so all we'll probably see are the basic grenades."

Gaige paused in her monologue to look at everyone in the distraction group. "Everyone following so far? Questions? Other people who know guns, anything you guys wanna add?"

Sabrina

"I wonder if we could use Momiji's cosplay device to disguise our Pokemon as more typical creatures found on these worlds," Sabrina asked Lusamine. She had been silent for a long time while Lusamine and Momiji helped get Asgore settled. Sabrina soon added, "I do not know what creatures are common on other worlds though... The only one I had encountered was a unusual creature that was summoned and obedient like a Pokemon."

Weiss—A cold choice

The first person that replied to her was the kid. His white hair was not unlike that of her family. He even was of her same age and hight. But his style was the polar opposite of a Schnee. He was wild and untamed by the blanket of safety that wealth brought.

"I managed to see your landing in my way down. Without aura..." She raised and eyebrow looking at the Kid from every angle to her surprise he seems to be just fine. "You're tougher than you seem to be."

Then the kid then gave his words of confort, "I appreciate that."— She pressed her lips at her side."— But I am not leaving you."

Before she could say more, she was soon joined by the blond vampire. She had seen him earlier fighting Jousuke. Dio's presence was brief yet it felt like a dark spot in crystalline water. She rolled her eyes at him. "I rather do something about it than do nothing," she unsheathed her weapon again. " When I decided to become a huntress, I gave up on turning my back when there is trouble."

The other side of the coin was Tanya. The child soldier's words carried wisdom. Yet she began to crack her mental image of an innocent child. "I can't say I have my hands clean. I've slayed grimm and some bad people back home. But I've always had a reason to fight." She sighed nodding to the child soldier. Her words about noticing the truth by herself piercing her like knife. She was right; it wasn't Einstein or anybody else who had to make her chosee: Weiss had to realize the truth on her own. "If these soviets are anything like the White Fang, I won't hesitate to fight." She waved her rapier, back at her side. She looked forward her eyes showing no hesitation.

Soon she was able to hear the stylish pimp words. Blacker Baron's words and enthusiasm was unexpected. A part of her was feeling guilty of misjudging him earlier. " I doubt the others will agree on that. I just hope all of this will be worth it." She sighed deeply.

Then Weiss nodded at Claw's words giving the Faunus pirate her silent approval.

Trying to inspire everyone was Kashira. The elf's words reminded her of a sad reality. Even if it was for self defense, the possibility of zero casualties was next to zero. Despite her feral, Faunus like appearance, the elf woman had a keen mind for strategy.

Wait was Qrow's actually backing her up? Maybe she had misjudged him. Wait was she starting to like him? She was starting to see why Ruby couldn't stop talking about him. Although he did seem to have that annoying tendency of disappearing and acting all mysterious for no reason.

Cold division

Kashira, was right a big in filtration team would ruin their chances of success. They would just be too easy to spot. The more people in a group the higher the chance of making a mistake.

"It might be a good idea to have another infiltration team. If anybody wants to join me, we could form another group and get inside. If one team gets caught, the other will have a better chance" she suggested. Weiss put her left hand on her waist.

"If not, I don't mind helping with the distraction. This fight is mine as well."

Tanya

Deciding to add in a supplement to the insanely cheerful woman's explanation, a cough to catch the attention was performed before a bit more detail to color in the lines came out of my mouth. "Yes, the firearms in question can come in various forms though due to the general location we'd be going towards, the ones you'd have to look out for the most would be the one round per shot rifle that focuses on long range accuracy and the full/semi-automatics that shoot a long stream of bullets in spurts like hail.

Taking a small breather to let the elf absorb such things, I then decided to put in more bad news. "If we're particularly unlucky, they might even have turrets set up around and those are pretty much giant immobile versions of the automatic firearms that can tear through the toughest of personal armor like paper. High intensity spotlights to illuminate the targets are also a thing and they'll mess with our aim while illuminating us as easy targets for any defender in the fort. If you have any abilities that allows for the summoning of barriers, I suggest you cast the strongest variant you can should action be joined by the defenders from range to maximize chances of survival. Otherwise, your best choice would be to hide behind sturdy enough cover."

That finished with, I took a couple steps forward until my frame was around Weiss' general vicinity (the irony of having someone with the same name as my subordinate being particularly flavorful). "I'll join in your small grouping. Probably one more wouldn't hurt, so you game, kid? There's a Maschinengewehr 34 in it for you if you join the party." Asking the imaginatively named fellow child soldier with a mischievous shrug and the eponymous bribe that focuses on filling things fast with big shells, I called for the lad. Left unsaid was the reasoning on why I wanted the person in question- size. We were among the smaller people among this ragtag band and thus it was much easier to hide our persons than the veritable giants such as the flamboyantly dressed man or a blonde bodybuilder in clothing reminiscent of a gigolo's.

"I can cast an optical illusion spell around our particular infiltration group, though it'll not be perfect and the effectiveness will lessen with more people. It's good enough for this night though since the dark means I can go simple instead of fabricating finicky details." Demonstrating by action to follow the words, a visual static buzzed into existence before my form was covered with a patch of darkness that blended in with the cover of night almost seamlessly. "It can't cover sound or smells but if we're careful enough that point is moot.".

Momiji

"Picture perfect. And no, you two should be okay. It's fancy stuff but nothing too overboard. Your hair is probably what would catch people's attention though." Shrugging and pointing out how their styling would be eyecatching, Momii then nodded at Sabrina's suggestion. "Well, normally I'd be all for that but if you people have capsules that can carry them around out of sight then that's better. Besides, if any of them are as big as that... Bewear was it? If any of them are that size, no Earth animal disguise will be enough to prevent trouble." School of hard knocks at work, the goddess turned to Einstein. "Alright golden oldie, let's get this Cinderella show on the road!"

Einstein's Lab

"Oh, you're still here...." Einstein said to Momiji, having somehow gotten himself distracted with a pencil and protractor at a drafting table. "Of course, you don't have a car, how foolish of me."

He picked up the phone in his little office and waited a moment. "Ja, Karl? I have some friends who need to get to the village... yes I suppose I forgot to have them check-in... yes quite unfortunate if that happens... yes... I would consider this a personal favor if you could overlook this, yes? Yes.... Excellent! And the town as well, yes. Bring the car around, at once."

He looked up at the group, especially Asgore. "On second thought," he said into the phone. "Make it the van...."

A short bit later, one of the garage doors at the end of the laboratory opened up and a blue van drove in, a plain-looking soldier behind the wheel as he expertly navigated through the things scattered around the lab and came to stop near the Climbers.

The soldier stepped out and after getting a wave-off from Einstein, spoke up to the visitors. "Where to, folks?"

The Kid

The Kid gave a brief nod at the dark-skinned elf's words, he'd never done much scouting with a group but he could manage, then turned his attention to the girl, Weiss. His brows raised slightly in confusion, a small amount of embarrassment rising in him. He had assumed in the dark those still above would not have been able to see his fall, but it seemed a few had caught sight. It was odd that they kept bringing it up as some amazing feat as well. The teenager would have almost assumed they were mocking him, if he hadn't been able to hear anything like it in their voices.

"Thank you? I do not know what aura is. Is it those glowing shapes you can make?" He had caught a brief glimpse of them as he had been falling, and wondered how they were made. So many things had caught his curiosity lately, it was almost overwhelming. When the girl spoke her determination to see the mission through, and with him for some reason, he nodded. "It's your decision. No one else can make it for you."

Imagine his surprise when right after, he learned that this rich-looking girl had actually killed someone before. She carried it well, he noted. And his respect for her rose. It seemed that the two had caught the attention of the small soldier girl, who was quick to offer to join as part of the infiltration group. He wasn't quite sure how, but The Kid had somehow ended up with a small group before he knew it. He saw no reason to reject Tanya's offer, and several reasons why she would be useful. He nodded, though another slightly confused look graced his face at the foreign words. "I don't know what that is."

What she did next only solidified The Kid's acceptance, when she seemed to fade into the night right before his eyes; Making his own widen slightly. That was one of the most useful scouting skills he had ever seen. "How are you doing that?"

Koishi - Master of Inflitration

Remilia's gotten Koishi's name wrong again. She doesn't correct her tiny vampire friend this time, but Koishi now realizes she's doing this on purpose. She huffs softly, just loudly enough to make sure the two other girls to know she's displeased. Koishi's hands sulk into her skirt pockets, absentmindedly feeling Sumireko's phone. People who tease her are annoying.

"Oh, hey, yeah! I've got your phone!" Koishi chirps happily when Sumireko reminds her, brandishing her ill-gotten gadget. "You dropped it last time, so I picked it up! Nobody believed it was a phone, on account of it not having enough buttons. Also, I couldn't call anybody on it, and it stopped working after a couple days."

When she puts it like this, it isn't hard to see why her claims of phone ownership went disbelieved.

"Do you want it back? It's really neat, but it is yours." Koishi thrusts Sumireko's phone back into her hands, lips bending into an understanding smile. It seems only right that she return it, now that she's looked after it. Somebody else might have picked it up had she left it there; and besides, what was she going to do, not grab something neat off the ground? That's just not the sort of satori she is.

Remilia has wandered off now. Groups are being decided, and Koishi doesn't want to be left behind.

"C'mon, c'mon!" Koishi insists, grinning at Sumireko - who could be well on her way to becoming a friend - and scampering off towards the open portal.

And just like that, she's high up in the chilly night sky. Several of the others seem concerned about this, but calm down once their parachutes deploy. Koishi, for her part, allows herself to free-fall for a few exciting seconds, but she makes sure to clutch her hat to her head; a wayward hat is at least as bad as someone calling her the wrong name, which makes it pretty darn unacceptable, I'll tell you what.

Once she's had a few seconds to enjoy the free-fall, Koishi halts her descent just long enough to angle herself downward and remove her hat, then rockets into a nosedive, grinning with glee as she savors the feeling of air rushing about her and her hair blowing back from her forehead. It's been a while since she's just gone fast, and she's glad to have had this chance. Her big sis doesn't do this much, either, come to think of it. She'd be less gloomy if she took some more me-time; Koishi's sure of it.

Her plummet slows as she approaches the snowy earth, and Koishi rights herself a few seconds before making a graceful landing. She's not dressed for winter weather, and she doesn't want to get her boots wet, so she takes to hovering a few inches above the snow. Koishi is still chilly, so maybe someone will have a scarf and coat for her.

Her hat finds its proper resting place atop her newly-messy head of green hair, and she floats over to the group that's been assigned to infiltration. This is just common sense for her.

"I'll help you guys out. I'm good at sneaking around." Koishi offers confidently. If anyone's sneaky enough to be a proper sneakman, it's her.

Einstein's Laboratory

"Well, actually...." Lillie said, "Nebby doesn't have a Pokeball, since he's...technically not my Pokemon. While I do have my bag for him, I'm not confident I can actually keep him in there. Also, I think he'd be happier if he could wander around outside. So...maybe I could use this ring to disguise him?"

She looked at Asgore's new outfit, which she admittedly still thought looked a little silly. More importantly, however, it made her think of an outfit she saw someone else wearing earlier. If what Asgore was wearing was the style common here, then she didn't think that outfit would clash much with the locals. At least, it'd probably clash less than her current one.

"...And can I use it myself? I think I have an idea."

Soon after that, a blue van pulled into the laboratory, meaning that it was time to leave. She was a little worried about whatever unfortunate happening the professor was referring to during his phone call, but beyond that she simply waited patiently. Whenever the others were ready, she'd follow.

Momiji

"Go ahead, lass. Feel free to be creative." Glancing at Nebby, the goddess smirked at the possible shenanigans that the little fella could wreak before walking off towards the van. "Make sure you give me back my ring once you're done though, that thing's pretty valuable." Plopping into the front seat besides the driver's position, the goddess put on one of those sleeping masks with the illustration of wide-open eyes before settling in. "Shopping district, please. We're on a long journey so we need to stockpile up on goods such as clothes and consumables."

Tanya

"Through magic, really. In my world, its mysteries are being deciphered and thus considered an applicable science. Every human that has a high enough source of mana inside of them can manipulate the world's physical laws around them to a certain extent and I've got quite a bit of it inside me." Explaining in a concrete manner, I continued to fiddle around with my spell so that only head from the neck up was visible and the rest of the body invisible. Got to give the boy a place to focus on during the conversation and all. "Anyways, I've basically erected a bubble that manipulates light waves so that my silhouette doesn't show up at night, thought person inside can still see just fine."

"Anyways, here's your gift." Handing over the MG 34 to the short but muscular fellow child soldier, I went into a brief tangent on how to operate the firearm in question before handing over the ammo as well. "It's good for firing in either short or long spurts, though even if the belt I gave you seems long, it chews through ammunition really fast so don't get too into it. 50 rounds is this thing's limit and once it runs out, there's probably no restocking unless we can scrounge up an enemy drop or something." Warning over, I waited for the group to get moving after willing the rest of my body into visibility once more.

Theron

The Grey Warden was quickly coming to regret his decision to arrive by parachute. Not only was the drop frightening — he saw no reason to lie to himself — but a wind carried him away from the rest of the group; he ended up with the parachute stuck on a tree and it took him a few moments to squirm around, reach one of his swords and cut the harness.
Fortunately, the fall wasn't too rough; unfortunately, he was a ways off from the rest of the group, so it took Theron some time to catch up with them; he arrived right when the speeches ended and trotted toward the infiltration group. "I am not doing this again," he grumbled. He watched Tanya's spell with a frown, then shook his head after she finished explaining. "I have no need of it. If I can sneak past Deepstalkers, I can sneak past those turrets you mention."
He sighed and drew his sword. "Let us make haste," he said and nodded toward the base. "The sooner we are done with this, the better."

"We have a... supermarket, miss," the soldier responded to Momiji, gaze shifting around as he took in a few odd sights. "It's a small village, there's just a few other stores scattered around. A pharmacy, a department store, a hardware store,a few restaurants, video rental, those sorts of things. Nothing quite like a shopping district you could find in the city."

Upon receiving the ring, Lillie opened up her bag again. "Nebby, we have a different idea for you. You can come out now."

"Pew?" Nebby asked as it hopped out of the bag. Then it looked at the ring and tilted itself to one side curiously.

"If we use this," Lillie explained, "We can make it so you look like something that's normal for this world, so you don't have to stay in the bag. So if you just sit still for a moment...."

Right as she was about to use it, however, a thought occurred to her. Then she looked at the rest of the group.

"...Um, what is normal here?" she asked to the assembled group, mostly to the woman offering the disguise service and the professor as they seemed to be the most knowledgeable, "I wouldn't know...."

While she was waiting for a response, she decided to get herself out of the way. She pictured the outfit she wanted in her head, and then used the ring in the same manner she saw the others use it.

When she was done, she was now wearing a somewhat frilly red-and-white dress, complete with a red bow in her hair and two red hair decs keeping her side-braids in place. It looked strikingly similar to a certain shrine maiden's, as a matter of fact.

Afterwards she looked down at herself, then at Asgore, then back at herself, then back to the group as a whole.

"...This won't stick out too much, will it? I think I can adjust if it will...."

Weiss Schnee–Team FTW.

Weiss almost regretted suggested saying those words. What if she was paired with one those weird members of the team like Dio?! She she shuddered at the mere thought .

She sighed of relief when Tanya offered to join her and then a very faint smile when the blond girl asked the kid to do so as well.

To answer the kid's question she said, "Aura is a projection of one's soul."—She looked up briefly to ponder—" think of it like an invisible shield around your body. I'm still surprised most people here don't have it."

After seeing Tanya's little demonstration, she said to her. "Perfect. That way they won't see us coming. I will go after you —she raised an eyebrow at the major in disbelief—Although you do seem to know lot about guns for a little girl."

"Magic doesn't exist at least not in my world. But we have something called semblances; it's unique power everyone has. Mine is creating glyphs like those you saw earlier. Qrow's... Actually, I don't think he has told anyone, has he?"

She turned around to glance at the kid.

"Speaking of names, I don't think I've heard yours," Weiss asked.

Remilia Scarlet; Or, Wrryeally Now?

"I will do no such thing, Mr. Brando," said Remilia, about as intimidated as she would have been by a very small cat. "You will address me as Miss Scarlet or Miss Remilia. If I feel like it, I will deign to reply. Koishoe, this is Mr. Brando. Mr. Brando, Koishoe."

Her parasol bobbed under the high hard navel, and condescended, when she turned, to brush it. Her eyes danced like rubies in a teacup.

"I'd appreciate it if you refrained from acting above your station. I have a nose for imposters, see, and it's really quite embarrassing when they, well, presume things. You can't possibly be more than two hundred years old, give or take a few decades. Did they not teach you manners in your dreary English prep school?"

She paused, and smiled her impish smile.

"And did you know you still smell of the gutter?"

Dio Brando - Normies, Roll Out

Alas; the way of that sweet thing, for which I was woefully unprepared. The effect is hard to explain in its entirety, dependent quite distressingly on the tone of those elongated consonants, each calculated flex and smirk of those dead lips, the precise colour and movement of crimson irises - instead, imagine this. There is a child, a girl-child between the ages of eight and twelve, the idea of adulthood having been broached to her upon the cusp of puberty and the idea of privilege and superiority having been broached to her the very moment she became capable of reading her surname. She will have none of it. This regardless of what it precisely is, or any prior relation to those suggesting. Her vocabulary has been cleared of the sweet and pliant, this an exercise in autonomy, and replaced in its entirety with the word shan't.

Imagine now this; the girl-child has the mind of an adult. Every childish lash and impatient jab is afforded weight behind the full human power of observation and reasoning, targeted to within a deadly margin and sharpened to the width of a knife in the shadow.

Moreover, alas, a darker power. This was the voice and posture of old money, bordering eldritch, descended not from trade or land but the authority of age itself. She knew the smell of an imposter and saw me at once for what I was, a taker, a thief, a man of low birth but high ambition. Unprepared, unassuming, and unaware, I was cut. I did not bleed, this has never been to me a thing of shame, but I was cut regardless.

For a second I entertained the thought of slapping her, but no. No. I was defeated, and knew it at once. I had no shield to match her opening offensive, and could not withstand her. My smile did not fade, though I fear became appreciably wooden.

"Be careful, sweet scion."

Still. A dreadful, smirking thing, bubbling from just behind my eyes to the very back of my throat; you cannot imagine my glee.

In more relevant matters, for a given value of the term; the other scion, the loathsome snow-haired thing with the tiresome naivete, had called for the formation of a second team. With our numbers bolstered in the meantime by the addition of the mint-green-haired waif, age and sense indeterminate, name unimportant, this was prudent enough to forgive its origin. The able Major Degtyaryov seemed chosen to lead this secondary detachment, a process of human Brownian motion, fabled sorceries, and a good hard stare.

With this, all possible preparation appeared complete. My following;

  • The greater ornate blackamoor, who remained resolutely silent.
  • The yellow-green thing, levitating gleefully, who assured us she was good at sneaking but looked sincerely as if she'd jingle when shaken. Koishi. That was it.
  • The littlest scion, who for academic reasons I quite dearly wanted to apply to somebody's throat.

This was a comfortable size. There seemed no remaining cause to mince words, lest we inflate further, so I did not.

"We'll approach them from the west. Degtyaryov, take your... people and approach from the east. The rest of you, attack from the south when you're signalled. Good hunting."

And with that, taking Remilia firmly by the scruff of her dress in anticipation of protest, I began the march.

The Kid - Moving Out

"Magic..." The Kid echoed quietly as he listened to Tanya's explanation, blinking in surprise as the girl's head suddenly popped into existence by itself. So, it was a kind of energy that people could use to do impossible things. That made enough sense to the soldier, with his recent knowledge about the Bastion. "Alright. How big can you make the bubble? And what happens if someone where to brush against it?"

The teenager's attention was immediately focused on the MG 34 when it was passed to him, taking it and immediately pointing it away from anyone. He eyed its odd design, being abnout the same length as his own rifle, but with an oddly perforated barrel and way of loading the ammo. it was a little more weighty than his own gun, but nothing he couldn't easily handle. When the young girl handed him the belt, his eyes widened in surprise. "It's like a Fang Repeater..."

His gaze returned to the weapon in his hands, filled with a mixture of shock, awe and excitement. The speed of a Fang Repeater with the power of an Army Carbine together would be a devastating weapon. Each bullet in the belt was also fairly large. He looked back up at Tanya. "These are common where you are from?"

Even before she could reply, the young soldier slung the belt over his shoulder and set to work quickly familiarizing himself with the workings of the gun. In an absurdly short time, he'd figured out how loading it most likely worked, how to adjust the sights, how to hold it comfortably, and was now eyeing the small switch on the side curiously. "What is this?"

Then, Weiss' words caught his interest, dragging his attention in her direction. "Your soul? Did gods grant you this power?" The idea of an invisible shield was greatly appealing to teen, but the idea of using your soul as protection seemed dangerous. "And wouldn't that damage your soul, if it was taking the damage instead?"

The Kid was starting to notice more and more that a lot of the places everyone else came from all seemed to have magic, or special abilities of some sort. He wasn't sure what the difference between Magic and these Semblances would be, but there apparently was one. It sounded like magic to him, but still. When Weiss asked his name, he shrugged lightly, not seeming too fussed. "Everyone calls me Kid, that's fine. I don't think I know your name either."

Noticing people starting to leave, The Kid hefted his new weapon and glanced between the two girls. "We should get moving."

Tanya

"They're pretty common where I come from yes. And that's the operating handle. You you cock the gun by pulling the operating handle, on the right side of the receiver, to the rear as far as it will go. The bolt now catches in its rearward position, and can be released only by squeezing the trigger. The operating handle must be returned to the forward position before firing the gun, since otherwise injury may result from the handle moving forward when the trigger is pulled. Check the safety lever to be sure that it is in the "fire" position, that is, with the letter "F" exposed." Explaining all the pertinent details to maximize potential upon seeing the well-practiced motions of gun disassembly the young man before me performed, I felt glee that I had someone competent in the group. Everything would come along much better now. "In the case the gun runs out of bullets, don't hesitate to pick up enemy equipment for supplementation. Though not anywhere near as good as my model knowing the Soviet quality, they'll be in much more ready numbers so resupplying is easier."

"I have explained in short time ago that I am a Major in the Imperial Army, fraulein. You don't really get to make it up the ranks without some knowledge about such things." Responding to the little lady who even now seems to view my credentials with a bit of hesitance, I could only shrug and soldier on until there was a point in time where I could demonstrate how I got my current position in the military. "As for my magic, well I can effect a six feet radius with myself as the center so we'll have to be somewhat close for it to work. With the way my light interference spell works, think of it as a one way mirror in that you can see out one way but not the other. Anything close enough to brush up against the magic would be able to see us, but the small area of effect works for us here."

"Alright, we really need to start this operation as of now before we lose the precious cover of darkness. Like the good Herr over there states, we shall take the eastern side of the base while they take the west. Hopefully the distraction diverts just enough people from either the north or south so that enough personnel are dragged away from the other directions to make the infiltration easier. For now, a steady clip towards the wall in question- once we've closed in then I'll activate the myriad spell covers on all of us so as to not waste necessary mana for when it is needed. Good luck, team." Performing a perfect 45 angle salute towards my compatriots, I made good on the start of the mission by floating a foot over the ground forwards the eastern front at the speed of a grown male soldier on a forced march to let the others follow behind easily, the reliable Kar-98k held in the ready position. "If all goes well, I can carry you both over the wall itself."

Momiji

"That'll do, Sebastian. That'll do." Lazily muttering her okay to the explanation given by the driver, the goddess muttered for a moment before peering at Lillie's direction. "Something like a stuffed animal or a really fluffy dog will work. The former you can just carry around everywhere in public and the latter will have enough fluff to block the legs from view so people won't be weirded out by your floating gas friend."

Weiss Schnee-Team Midget FTW

The little scene between Dio, the villainous vampire, and his vampiric master caught the heiress attention.

"That girl is trying too hard to seem important ," Weiss said as she heard Remilia Scarlet, moving her ponytail at her side. "Elegance is more than just fancy words and self importance. It's an art and a way of life."

"I am glad I was to team up with you-" she said while looking at the Kid for a few seconds and then at Tanya . "Both. I know I wouldn't stand Zasalamel and another of his ridiculous rants "

Then there was the kid who seemed awfully peaceful despite the fact that he was carrying a loud gun in his arms. "No. It's something everyone with a soul can do. It's just a projection, so we're fine."

What surprised her the most was how he seemed to be so chill about everything. It was refreshing to meet a boy that had no idea who she was nor cared at all about the weight her name carried.

"Kid"? That's just a nickname isn't it?" She raised and eyebrow. "Name's Weiss, Weiss Schnee."

When Tanya complained about being underestimated, "You have to admit Majors around you are aren't exactly the norm. " She sighed. " But I suppose, this isn't the first time I'm being lead by someone younger than me."

Tanya, the evil, also mentioned being able to fly them through to which, she said o both, "I can also use my glyphs to help you walk over the walls"

Weiss unsheathed Myrtenaster, her repier, in part to let them know she was ready.

The huntress nodded to Kid about they needing to move, and as soon and as soon as Tanya began to fly she began to run just behind her, wielding her weapon in her right hand.

Baron and Claw, Hunt Is On!

"Alright! Is about time we hand some muddafuckas their asses." The magnificent opulence of Blacker Baron clanged his fists together with a satisfied grin. They have indeed spent too much time just walking in circles and discussing the plan when really, it was as simple as strolling in and then improvising if need to.

He stomped right over Gaige, rolling his shoulders.

Claw lingered a little longer, glancing over at the infiltrators, including among them the pacifistic shrine maiden. "Keep yourselves safe." With this simple sendoff he could finally rejoin the main group of distractions, idly taking in Gaige's information about the sheer obscenity of firearms' evolution.

Asgore - Einstein's Laboratory

Asgore looked as Lillie changed her outfit into something more red and then asked if that would draw too much attention. All things considered, it didn't seem to be too eye catching for him, but he was perhaps not the best judge for something like that.

"It does not look too flashy to me. It does suit you quite well though," he told her, smiling.

A van was called to transport them to town and the others were already giving it directions, so all that he could was get in it, hopefully it wouldn't be too cramped in there.

"Well, I suppose it is time to move out," he said as he headed towards the van.

Remilia Scarlet; Or, Old Money and Big Gay

The little Scarlet Devil, for a moment, seemed almost inclined to hiss. As the back of her nightie stretched and stretched, pulling her back through the snow, her eyes flashed like stained glass and her lips wriggled like white worms.

Then she seemed, somehow, to think better of it.

"Mr. Brando, let me ask you a question. Do you know what drives our kind?"

The sinewy hand at the scruff of her neck was easily the size of her head, and her own fingers were soft and pudgy. But when she grasped the massive wrist with one hand and squeezed, the wrist turned almost blue from the strain, and when she squeezed just a little harder, it broke.

Quietly, happily, like a child at a cherished puppet-play, Remilia flew up and over Dio's head, popping his shoulder out of joint and carrying him a full two centimeters off the ground. And so they bobbed along at walking speed, like a hunting cushion and her oversized prey, looking bizarrely calm given the circumstances.

"Please," smiled Remilia, "do tell me the way. This snow is so dreadfully horrid. I can hardly feel my arms."

Einstein's Lab

Lusamine took a deep breath. So this is how it was going to start, her daughter dressing up like that flying harlot. She didn't need grandchildren this soon. She wasn't prepared for that sort of thing, not for another decade at least. Still... if it made her daughter happy.

"That looks lovely on you, Lillie," she said to Lillie with a smile as she got into the van.

"Blend in? Why would you need to blend in?" the soldier said to Sabrina. He raised an eyebrow at Lillie's costume transformation, and raised the other when he noticed just how tall Asgore was.

Einstein popped his head out of the window of his office. "Oh Karl, I forgot to mention, these are my friends from... Japan. Yes, Japan, so they might not know the area too well."

"Oooooooh," the soldier said, all traces of discomfort or confusion disappearing from his face. "Japan, of course. Why didn't you say so. You know, I would love to visit some day. Well, no need to keep you waiting."

Once everyone who wanted to go was in the van, he drove off through the door in the lab.

Black Forest, Germany, 1210 Local Time

The van made its way out of the lab, revealing that it was in the center of a large military base. The noon sun shone brightly above on a rather pleasant day. A bit nippy, perhaps, but still pleasant. Soldiers patrolled the grounds and manned guard towers and booths, various vehicles made their way around, while several strange ones that looked like trucks seemed to be ripping rocks out from the ground and then vanishing into thin air, and a group of soldiers and dogs were marching alongside a tank.

As the van drove down a clear path in the base, it passed by several buildings, which included a few large power generators, a large garage with an even larger crane outside of it, a building where an enormous robotic arm that resembled a crane was repairing a Humvee, and a few large buildings that seemed to be factories of sorts. It came to a brief stop at a gate as the driver spoke to the guard on duty before being let through.

The buildings faded into the rear view mirror, though, as the van went along the road and soon enough was in a small town, one that had signs of modern civilization mixed with quaint little buildings.
